If you've been waiting an age for a game that manages to really capture the feel of old Japanese Godzilla movies, then look no further than Godzilla on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
As its new trailer shows, this is an old school mega monster romp. Stomping around cities, smashing entire apartment blocks down with one tail swing, and kicking the absolute crap out of other big beasties is the order of the day, and to be totally honest, it looks fantastic.
Sure, it looks slightly cheap, and obviously, completely daft, but we think that it's exactly what fans will want. What do you think? Could this be the perfect giant monster title? Roar, stomp, and annihilate in the comments section below.

It looks pretty good, maybe not for me at full price but perhaps a rental. I'd be more interested in a vita version.
Coming from a godzilla fan. (Seen every movie no lie.)
I would probably really enjoy this, I playes the Japanese demo and it was good stompy fun, but at the same time like the artical says It is a bit cheesy and dont really see this selling well outside JP. But I will pick it regardless.
@BladeRider me too. I've still my dusty copy of Godzilla: Destroy all Monsters for my GameCube!
Can't be the perfect monster game w/o multi player, I still can't believe they left that out. We still own the PS2, Gamecube and Wii Godzilla games and the best thing about all of them was vs and in at least 1 of them co-op play. The whole game doesn't need to be story co-op but no 2 player vs has me rethinking my day 1 purchase.
I know the PS3 version is only $40 and PS4 (w/ multiplayer) $60 but I'll still hold off until a sale. Or another PSN offline "thank you".
Thanks to my friend the above poster I became interested in this one. Again, hopefully the PS3 version is decent enough to take the plunge.
I'll keep an eye on it.. I saw Jet Jaguar after all.
Looks like fun but it doesn't look like it should be a £50 release to me.
@AhabSpampurse makes me wanna get a wii and play unleashed again. Or find it on ps2
I'll check it out when it comes to PS+.
This game trailer has indie written all over it. Hopefully not 60$
I am ready for Godzilla King of the Monsters. Big fan of him and hope there is a collectors ed of this game. Must pre-order for me.
