The drip feed of Mass Effect 4 information continues, as developer BioWare proceeds to tell us about its in-development intergalactic role-playing game β without actually showing us anything. Senior development director Chris Wynn is the latest to take to social media to big up the forthcoming space faring foray.
"Busy showing and telling the latest Mass Effect progress to the team," he teased. "The amount of detail on the characters is insane." Meanwhile, senior creative director Preston Watamaniuk β don't ask us how you pronounce that one β added that the game "is looking amazing". Sounds like Jessica Chobot's character will be sitting this entry out, then.

We'll bang, okay?
@shogunrok
Hope Dr. Chocolates isn't in this one. She knows too much.
Jessica Chobot's weird-looking character model won't be in the game this time? Let's hope that's the case because that'll be a relief. That was such an obvious and unnecessary shoe-horned in character if ever there was one.
Starting to get a bit tired of the recent trend of dev/publisher d*ck-swinging without any evidence to actually substantiate their claims. Talk is cheap without anything to back it up - I could talk until I'm blue in the face about how I'm hung like Ron Jeremy, but that doesn't necessarily make it true!
To be fair to Bioware, I expect this probably is looking great, but to be honest I'm just not interested any more unless there's something to show!
"out of this world ?" - where is Lester Knight Chaykin ?
I've always thought Jessica Chobot was a cutie, but that character model looks...out there.
And yeah, don't talk up your game if you got nothing to show.
Started playing LoU the other night and was impressed how much better it looks than even Uncharted 2 and 3, and was thinking, "man, U4 is going to look unbelievable on PS4", so yes, PS4, is capable of great looking graphics, we know, you can stop telling us, we know.
Show us something if you have something to show, otherwise stop repeating the obvious.
I'm Garrus Vakarian and this is my rectum
I'm ready. I want to see something on mass effect damnit.
I actually thought that the character creation models got worse through the series, especially when importing from ME2 to ME3. The lip syncing too.
I hope this game will have more pretty girls & boys. Ya, I'm superficial. Dragon Age Inquisition Characters are mostly generic looking...
mass effect on ps4, of course itll look good. I just hope they can come up with an interesting story and characters. How the H do you top cmdr Shepard? One of gamings most awesome characters
@Flurpsel really? Not that I didn't like my Shep by the end of it, but I strangely never actually grew that attached, same with DA:I come to think of it. I think it's because the degree of choices on offer makes Sheperd's actions seem to be mine, and of course I'm already attached to me but I never really think of it like that. Shepherd to me is really just more of an avatar, a conduit for my choices in the game, and it's the other characters you interact with that I actually found myself more attached to over time.
Either way I agree with the general point that the cast was cracking, and will be very difficult to top!
@SteveButler2210 imo it doesnt matter what choices you make in ME, youre allways a hero. Everybody allways looks up to shepard and says 'here, you deal with this' and being the badass he/she is you allways deliver. But not in a superhero 'I can do anything' kind of way. There are plenty of scenes that show the doubt that Shepard has, but he/she is such a great charismatic leader that you allways come through and get people to join you.
But in the end I gues whether you grow attached to a character is very personal and different for everybody
