Impressive, eh? Dragon Ball XenoVerse has sold over 2 million copies, according to Bandai Namco. For a new series based on a licensed property that only released a couple of months ago, that's rather good.
- We quite liked Dragon Ball XenoVerse - you can read our review here
- Wondering about buying the game's newest DLC? We reviewed that, too
Adding further evidence to the sense that Dragon Ball fans have simply been waiting for a title that's a cut above other recent attempts, the sales data never lies. As such, we reckon that you can expect news of a sequel within the next year or so - and we certainly won't be complaining when it happens.
Are you still playing XenoVerse? What would you like to see in a sequel? Trade blows with us at the speed of light in the comments section below.

yep I'm still playing XenoVerse and it deserves all those sales, it's the best DBZ game in years
My kids restarted playing Dragonball Z Sagas on the Gamecube (though technically they are playing on a Wii) while they wait for this. Not sure what exactly we're waiting for - a birthday or sale or Christmas or PS4 purchase or "complete" edition - but they seem happy w/ DBZ Sagas. The game has anime footage from the show line thru Cell so it's kind of like a mini DBZ Kai.
Yesterday my son decided he wants a Dragonball themed bar mitzvah. Not sure how that's going to pan out, but I think he got sick of his parents bugging him about a theme for the past 6 months and he just said the 1st thing that came into his head. 4 star Dragonball kippas for everyone.
Great sales, I'm picking this up next month
Oh crap, I forgot, I'm part of that 2 million. I still haven't played it yet. ^_^;
