Bloodborne managed to hold its own fairly well over the Easter holidays, slipping down to third in the cumulative UK sales charts, but remaining the best-selling individual game across all formats. Combined SKUs pegged Battlefield Hardline at the top, while Grand Theft Auto V finished second. All three ended ahead of Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, which debuted disappointingly in eighth.
FIFA 15, Far Cry 4, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection padded out the top ten, while Dying Light and Destiny held onto ninth and tenth respectively. Elsewhere, The Order: 1886 slipped all the way down into 19th position, while The Last of Us Remastered dropped into 32nd place. What have you been buying lately? Most die-hard Souls fans already own DSII & will have already downloaded the patch, only some die-hards will be buying it again. But Bloodborne being know as a Souls game (even tho its not a Souls game) might help with Scholar of the First sales, as people new to Bloodborne might what to try out the other three games, I've already reads a few comments about people wanting to try DSII after finishing Bloodborne.
Ordered Dark Souls, should be coming today.. Might have a crack on it but I expect I'll be putting it to one side until Bloodborne is put to bed.
I'll be starting it up tonight or tomorrow for brunch. DS II bring me death.
