We already knew that some of you weren't too happy about Konami putting the nail in Silent Hills' metaphorical coffin last week, but apparently another 70,000 people feel the same way.
A petition started by Yauheni Zinkevich, one of the game's early fans, comes with a letter to directors Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro, pleading the two to continue development. We're sad to say it, but the likelihood of this changing anything is, well, pretty low. The game's playable teaser, P.T., was removed from the PlayStation Store just a few days ago.
Still, if you want to sign the petition, here's a nice little link for you. Its goal is 75,000 signatures, so you can be a part of the final stretch. Signing it only takes a few seconds, too – we would know.
What say you? Are you still upset over Silent Hills' cancellation, or have you moved on? Curse Konami's name in the comments below.

nah let Konami die and their IP's be brought by a decent publisher and we might get that Castlevania game we all want
The game did sound like it would be pretty incredible, but personally, yes, I would prefer a new Castlevania game that's as good as or better than Symphony of the Night. But it looks like Konami isn't likely to deliver either at this point.
Please leave the industry and sell your IPs, Konami, kthxbye
75,000 to me sounds pretty low to make a change.
This game sounded like it could have been a great title, but, some other games that sounded great turned out to be garbage. I'd love for the game to come as well as a new Castlevania title, but I'm just hoping that it's not going to be 2-3 years before we see any of them. Other than that, I signed the petition.
Make that 70,001
If one game ever deserved its vision to be fully finished it's Silent Hills. Taking a few seconds to sign is a small price to pay in the hopes that anything could turn this situation around.
Yeah me being one of them!
79,491 as it stands now.
I'm still just surprised Konami would be stupid enough to nix this game. Silent Hill? Guillermo Del Toro? Norman Reedus? This thing was going to print money, no matter what. And it sounds like Konami seriously needs money.
@DominicanGlory lol, yup. Silent Hills was an opportunity to create what probably would have been a AAA God Tier horror game, with geniuses at the helm.
ugh Konami....barfs
Like petitions ever work.
I definitly signed the petition, IM GONNA SHARE IT AROUND!!
Not a lot of signatures but hey I'll sign it.
signing asap! share it people, you never know!
@FullbringIchigo I'm hoping Nintendo buys it. They seem to be the only one's doing anything with old 8 16 bit games. If you want that kind of Castlevania.
Signing the petition right now. But I can't give up hope that this whole Konami vs Kojima thing is just a huge marketing hoax. I just can't see a Metal Gear Solid without Kojima's geniousness involved. And Silent Hill... well, there's no much where the franchise can go now if they throw this idea out in the garbage... One can dream... right??
@Tasuki Same thought here sadly...would be a nice thing if petitions did ever do anything though.
