We'd wager that you're going to be hearing quite a bit about Assassin's Creed Syndicate as we approach E3 2015, but coinciding with the game's official reveal earlier today, Ubisoft's released its earnings report for this fiscal year. It may not seem that important at first, but the document actually confirms that the aforementioned Assassin's Creed Syndicate will be a single player adventure only.
Jump back to last year, and Assassin's Creed Unity shed the franchise's competitive multiplayer modes, replacing them with a co-op component. Now, it's looking like the tale of Jacob Frye won't even have that. Whether or not this means that the development team can concentrate on polishing the single player experience, we can't say just yet, but are you happy with this decision, or did you enjoy the series' previous multiplayer offerings? Don't bother teaming up in the comments section below.

The mp and co-op dont suit the game so single player is a ok with me
Looks like those who wanted The Order 1886 prequel got their wish.
good, multiplayer NEVER suited this series
plus it means if your a trophy hunter no messing around in a mode no one wants to play jyst for trophies
It's a wise decision. AC2 and ACIV were both excellent without multiplayer (if they had them. I'm not sure) and hopefully the resources will he put to good use.
Between the setting, the fact that they may have learned from the unity debacle and the single player focus, this is the first AC title I will be getting day one since Brotherhood.
This is definitely good news & should lead to a better game overall, I wasn't a fan of the MP all people did was run around.
finally !!!! not paying for stuff I never use...hope that game is triple (or even more) as long as the last game...was waaaaay to short for the money...
Good, keep multiplayer out of this series. Honestly though, I'll probably still end up skipping this. I feel they still haven't learned their lesson from Unity and are just pushing another game out to fill a quota. I hope they prove me wrong though.
While I personally did like the competitive multiplayer in the games, I feel this is a step in the right direction and hope that Ubisoft concentrates it's efforts into making an original story experience. I have high hopes for this and the idea of playing as two sibling characters seems pretty interesting.
I at least give em props for making a single player only game. Yet somehow I get the feeling it's going to need to connect to Ubisoft's servers nonetheless. Why Ubisoft... why.
Finally a smart decision.
GOOD!!!! Not every game needs f'ing multiplayer.
Might actually be interested in AC with only single player. Feel like I'm of a very small group now that hate MP stuff, no interest, I just like single player campaigns. That, or I'm just old.
