Bloodborne's brand new patch is not quite as exciting as its forthcoming expansion pack, but lovers of the good blood will still be excited to learn that it's available now. Weighing in at approximately 300MB – the update stacks, so you'll be sitting through a good 2.8GB of data if you're working with a fresh install – the download mostly addresses bugs and balance issues.
According to a DualShockers translation of the Asian patch notes, headline tweaks include the ability to store up to 600 Blood Vials and Quicksilver bullets, which should come in handy. You'll also be able to access the Insight bath at any time, as long as you've earned at least one Insight at any point in the past.
Other tweaks include reductions to the stamina usage of Logarius' Wheel and the Kirkhammer, as well as an increase to the effects of the Tiny Tonitrus. You'll get better prizes from the Chalice Dungeons as well, in the form of bonus Blood Echoes and Blood Stone rewards. And, of course, the developer's also fixed various minor bugs and issues.
We'll post the full English patch notes as soon as they become available. In the meantime, download the update now and let us know if you've noticed any tweaks in the comments section below.

Currently living the Witcher but bloodborne is still my goty and i' glad to see from/Sony are supporting it so much, can't wait for the expansion
Ooooh those are some nice changes! I'm doing NG+ at the moment and I can't wait to play the new expansion.
This game...ugh...its so good.
Sweetness. It's always good to hear that they're actively fixing/balancing. I hope the expansion has a Halberd of some sorts as a weapon that transforms into a Lu Bu type of Bo Staff.
GOTY enough said.
I suck so bad at this game, but I love it so much! I'm stuck on Vicar Amelia and I feel like I'm just banging my head against the wall. Oh well, I guess I'll get through it eventually...on a Witcher break at the moment.
This was my GOTY but Witcher 3 has now stole that thunder
I platinumed it before the first patch... I feel like I've played Bloodborne too early... But I LOVED it. Probably going to do another run once the DLC is up. It's definitly my favorite PS4 game to date.
@Scorpio73 in games from from software, you don't suck, you just get better and better a little bit at a time. Unless your a prodigy lol. I'm no prodigy but I'm a souls vet, and this game knocked my ass down lol
@Alpha man you're not kidding. I've never played a game that is so frustrating, and fun all at the same time. I never played the Dark Souls games, so this is my first foray into From Software titles. I am definitely a fan, but sometimes I just want to punch one of the devs in the throat ya know? LOL
