Far Cry 4: Complete Edition PS4 PlayStation 4

'Tis that wonderful time of the year where every blockbuster gets repackaged and re-released, and today it's the turn of Far Cry 4. Ubisoft has announced that a Complete Edition of its dictatorial overturning escapade will deploy on the PlayStation 4 in the UK from the 19th June. Bizarrely, there's no word on the PlayStation 3 – or either Xbox format.

The package will include the core campaign, alongside all of its Season Pass content. This means that you'll unlock the excellent Valley of the Yetis expansion out of the box, as well as various other DLC packs. To bad the dlc sucks the base game is fun though.

I think I'll stick with the base game, besides, Batman Arkum Knight and the Elder Scrolls Online come out around the same time. If I never owned Far Cry 4 and wanted it I would just pick up a used copy for £20 instead.

These devs really seem to reward people who wait to buy their games, with cheaper, more content rich versions.

Or you can still buy the original version for the same price or less.

On the bright side, I guess that means they've run out of games for that other "r" word, remastered.

Seriously, I know a couple are coming, but I don't think they have too many left to announce - GoW, TLoU, GTAV. I'm sort of opposed to anything being re-remastered - ie all the PS3 HD remasters of PS2 games, though I'm sure FFX and the 2 KH bundles will get the PS4 treatment, but that's on Squeenix. I don't need ZoE or Sly trilogy again.

On the bright side, as @Sinalefa pointed out, I'll have a lot to play on the cheap someday when I get a PS4.
