It's been a little while since we last posted about Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, but the project has gone from strength to strength since its announcement a few weeks ago. Now sitting at a cool $3 million, Koji Igarashi's revival has been officially confirmed for the PlayStation 4, and will be getting several bonuses in the form of new modes, characters, and bosses courtesy of Stretch Goals.
However, if you haven't donated to the project yet, it's still worth doing, as with an additional $500,000 in funding, the release will get farmed out to Armature Studio and ported to the PlayStation Vita. Considering the likes of Guacamelee felt great on Sony's handheld, this is a conversion that we can get behind.
"Our team knows the Vita platform inside and out, and we'll do it justice as we bring you Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, running on Unreal Engine 4, to the Vita," a studio spokesperson said. "Help us bring Bloodstained where -vania games belong – your hands!" A pledge of $28 or above will score you a copy of the Castlevania-esque adventure on your system of choice, so you know what you need to do.

Yeah! Vita! That would be my platform of choice, even better with PS4 cross-buy (wouldn't expect that though). Aaauugghh...this game can't come soon enough!
@kupo It does say that Armature will work with the developer of the PS4 version, so you can probably expect cross-save or something like that. Cross-buy is, like you say, less likely, though.
I already sent them my money. I will be getting it on the PS4 but hoping that it will make it to as many systems as possible. That will show Konami what the people want.
Will be backing this up. I will get it for ps4 and will buy the vita version if it hits the vita goal
Awesome
Thank you based IGA!
Oh yes, please make it happen!
If the Vita version is funded it would be great if there was an option to donate slightly more to get the game on both the PS4 and the Vita.
I'd donate but knowing my luck this will flop and everyone will be out of pocket...
I an so exited about this one getting a Vita release! Handheld Castlevanias (GBA and DS ones) are my absolute favorites!
I'd certainly buy it on Vita
