Need for Speed, the PlayStation 4 reboot of EA Games' legendary racing franchise, will tack on its body kit and take to the track from 3rd November – well, if a leaked Xbox Games Store listing is to be believed. Microsoft's been quite good at outing dates of late, and the Redmond firm pulled the page as soon as it was listed, so we're banking on this being accurate.
According to the outed information, the release's story will allow you to "carve your own unique path, via multiple overlapping stories, gaining reputation on your journey to become the ultimate icon". We sincerely hope that Clarence 'Razor' Callahan is making a comeback. The action will take place in a "nocturnal open world of urban car culture", inspired by the West Coast.
Apparently, there'll be five different ways to play: Speed, Style, Build, Crew, and Outlaw. Expect out-and-out races, drift challenges, tuning tasks, team sessions, and cop chases, then. To be fair, it sounds like the recipe for a great racer, and seeing as the PS4 is still a little light on that front, we hope that this ends up great.

I would like a day night cycle rather than all night time. I'm thinking the nocturnal open world bit is getting at that. Just prefer a mix sunrise and sunset, maybe I'm spoilt by drive club.
If this is anything like Underground I'll definitely try it out.
I'd get this, but I'll wait until after E3 to see if a new Gran Truismo or Wipeout is coming out first.
