Capcom has high hopes for Street Fighter V, the PlayStation 4 and PC exclusive fighter that was officially announced late last year. As part of the Japanese publisher's latest earnings report, it announced that the brawler will release within its current fiscal year, which means that it's set to arrive anytime before 31st March, 2016. That matches up with its rumoured spring release window, but is subject to change, of course.
The firm added that it expects the sequel to really flex its muscles at retail, with a not-so insignificant two million sales forecast. It did clarify that it anticipates that it will achieve this number across both physical shops and digital outlets such as the PlayStation Store, so it sounds more than reasonable to us. In fact, we wouldn't be surprised if it did a bit better than that β this is still a big brand, after all.
Elsewhere, the ever entertaining Yoshinori Ono has been tweeting about the title, telling his 68,000 followers that he "can't wait for E3" next month, where the release will presumably have a big presence. Series antagonist M. Bison was the previous character teased, so we're sure that he'll be putting in an appearance during Sony's press conference.

Cant wait. Its difficult to see how they can improve from sf4 though.
I really want Tekken 7 and Street Fighter V. Western developers just can't make solid fighting games. And Guilty Gear is not my cup of tea. Also I want Soul Calibur 6.
I want this but I will wait for the alpha hyper turbo remix arcade goty edition π. Joke aside day 1 for me.
@xVAKAR1ANx You forgot the "Super" in the beginning. haha
@ztpayne7 DAMN IT lol
Super Street fighter v sounds much better.
@Gemuarto
I don't know, the last few Soul Claiburs sucked hard. I'd rather Namco just focus on Tekken and forget about SC.
@Gamer83 The last Soul Calibur for me was SC2HD Online and it was very good =).
@Gemuarto
Well yeah, SC 2 is a good game. 3, 4 and 5 not so much.
@Gamer83 NB can make solid Soul Calibur. So I'll take my chances. And I like Soul Calibur better than Tekken. Soul Calibur 2 is my favourite fighting game of all times =). Yeah, they can do bad Soul Calibur again. But still there is a chance... All they need to do is to build it around Soul Calibur 2.
So ready to unleash Charlie upon the world!!! Teleportin' Flash Kicks!!
@Gemuarto Guilty Gear Xrd was and still is my current favorite "new gen" fighter. MKX was pretty good but I've got a soft spot for the GG crew. SF5 and Tekken 7 are going to be awesomesauce though.
