A short but sweet edition of WAYP this week, as the bulk of the team's busy with various review assignments. Even though we're technically in the "lull" before E3, there's still tons of software deploying on the PlayStation 4 – partly due to those all-important indie titles that Sony has signed up. Will the smaller digital games be keeping you occupied this weekend, though – or have you got something a little more meaty in mind? Let us know below.

I'm never going to clear my backlog of digital games, so I'm adopting a new approach: I load up a title, play it for 30 minutes, and if it doesn't grab me, I delete it. I feel a bit guilty culling releases that developers have clearly invested thousands of hours of effort into, but I just don't have the time – or the hard drive space – to give them anymore attention.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. [That's all that we could get out of him, folks – and it was mumbled at that! – Ed]

This weekend, on top of putting more hours into my interplanetary soup enterprise in the charmingly bizarre Nom Nom Galaxy, I'll also be trying to finally spend some time with Xenoblade Chronicles on my 3DS [Not familiar with that format, Alex! – Ed]. Whatever does ultimately end up on the gaming menu though, will all be in aid of distracting me from what feels like every man and his dog live streaming The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Tuesday can't come soon enough.

I am finally getting the chance to sit down with the next episode of Life Is Strange, so look out for a review of that next week. Additionally, I've had Project CARS for nearly a week, and barely spent 10 minutes with it; it's definitely going to be time for me to fix that. And I might try and jump into Ether One. I bought it on Steam when it first came out, but I haven't touched the PS4 version as of yet.
We warned you that it was a short and sweet one, so we're going to need you to pad out this article in the comments section. What's keeping you busy? Are you champing at the bit for The Witcher 3? Which console will be getting most of your attention this week? Do our job down below.

I got Freedom Wars from the flash sale for just $5, lets see if I like it.
@ferrers405 Interested to hear your thoughts. I actually really like it; if you've got a PlayStation TV, it plays great on that, too.
I'm starting out shadow of mordor. I'm surprisingly undecided on how I feel about it...
Was gonna grab nom nom galaxy but playstation store doesn't seem to be working so think am gonna finally finish dragon age Inquisition in preparation for the Witcher on Tuesday!
Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution
Just spent an hour w/ my kid playing the Lone Ranger playset in Disney Infinity 1.0, it was rather enjoyable.
Other than that Xenoblade Chronicles, forever and ever it seems.
Trying to fix my PS3 hard drive so I can play Alice Madness.
Getting killed often in Bloodborne
Corporation megadrive tonight, NBA live15 Sunday.
Just finished Ghost Trick, so now I'll be playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3D a lot more. If I can manage, Assassin's Creed 3 and DmC are my other options.
Been playing Final Fantasy X for ps4 and will do that for a few days.....
Going to change game the 19th
Kicking arse taking names on MKX! Or should I say getting my arse kicked often on MKX!
@get2sammyb I here you on the digital games Sammy. I am to the point now I add them to my library but unless the game name or description grabs my attention it just stays in my library.
As for what I am playing this weekend, we'll I am in a baseball mood so it will be
RBI Baseball 14 - PS4
The Bigs 2 - PS2
Also cause of Bloodstained I am in a Castlevania mood so
SotN - PS
Castlevania Portrait of Ruin - DS
Life is Strange episode 1 & 2.
I am just really passing time until Witcher 3 unlocks at midnight on Monday.
Diablo 3. So close to the platinum yet so far away. This will take up my entire weekend
@iDangerMouse_ completed both metros last week. Really awesome games! Fantastic artwork and therr is so much detail in the world its ridiculous
I picked up The Walking Dead season one for PS4 off the flash sale and playing that. I had all ready played it on PS3 but for $5 it was a steal.
My backlog is so huge it dates back to ps2/GameCube games :/. But I recently finished majoras mask 3d, the order 1886 (I get the hate but I had a blast), and now finally trudging thru tomb raider definitive edition. I'm enjoying the crap out of it! my goal is to finish by Tuesday so I can jump on witcher indefinitely lol. Well splatoon is around the corner and my friends are getting it so its gonna be hard to juggle both. #firstworldproblems
@themcnoisy Oh god tell me you arn't playing Coroporation! That game is bloody horrendous, used to make me so mad back in 1993-1994!
I actually kinda liked it, in a mysteriously atmospheric and sadomasochistic kind of way. It was hard, and I was one for punishment at the time being a big fan of the Ecco games! But I'm really surprised if you're able to actually play and enjoy it now!
@kyleforrester87 I keep getting put in a screen with a lizard arm, the games impossible. Bought is for a quid so not complaining. @Star-Lord Ive finished it buy hats off to you some of those latter trophies are solid.
@themcnoisy you mean Freddie the lizard? Lol. Yeah, the game was ahead of its time in alot of ways but I really can't imagine it's much fun at all to play now. Empire of Steel (or Steel Empire as I think it was called in other territories?) is a game that has aged okay I bet.
Bloodborne. Im totally addicted. Alien isolation, Dying light, Farcry4, The evil within, The last of us remastered are all sitting idle on the shelf since the From software guys released the game .Dont even want to think about the indie games i need to complete .
Thinking of going and getting another months subscription on DCUO on ps4. Because all of the eso hype I want another mmo to play and the DC programmes of late arrow and the flash make me want to play a super hero game!
I had bought Kenka Bancho in the last flash sale, and with my new memory card, I figured, I'd download and give it a shot. And my goodness, it's over the top hilarity and fun is the best PSP game I've played on my Vita in a while.
Mortal Kombat X
The Wolf Among Us
@Star-Lord I too have platinumed guaca on the vita and am currently on the ps4 version but not sure if I will get the plat as the inferno gold medals seem far too time consuming.
How are you finding it star lord?
I'm currently playing DmC: Devil May Cry (PS3) , I just finished Mission 11: The Order .
@ToddlerNaruto I played it on PS3 when it was free on PS+ and it was a good game, but the PS4 remaster is a lot better
Finally found a physical Ultimate Marvel vs capcom 3 game for vita. And also Wipeout 2048. And Killzone Mercinaries.
@FullbringIchigo I don't plan on owning a PS4 until Fall 2016 (next year), so that would be the earliest I could experience the PS4 Remaster version.
I could easily get a PS4 if I waited 5 more weeks, but my PS3 game backlog is so huge I'm in no rush or hurry.
@ToddlerNaruto I know what you mean, I still have a large backlog of PS3 games but when got my PS4 january last year it was because I had the money spare then as my job is only part time it's hard to know if I would have the money later on, so I got it when i knew I could afford it and I have not regretted it once even if I am still playing my PS3 more for now I know I'm already future proof for upcoming games
After being without my PS4 for 4 months (don't ask!) I've jumped back in where I left off with GTA 5.
Also slowly playing Machinarium and Walking Dead Season 2 on Vita...
@FullbringIchigo I have 77 PS3 games in my backlog, is that more than you?
My job is also part-time minimum wage too (my boss just promoted me from 15 hrs weekly to 20 hrs weekly), but I'm confident I'll still be working at Burger King a year and six months from now.
@ToddlerNaruto yeah that's more than mine I have about 53 games in my back log
@FullbringIchigo Ah okay. I have 17-18 games I could easily beat, so I'm working through those right now.
After that my backlog should reduce to 59-60 games...but that's assuming I don't buy anymore new games lol.
@ToddlerNaruto yeah I end up doing that, finish a game in my back log only to buy a brand new game
I have games I havn't even played yet, still I'll get round to them eventualy (I hope)
@FullbringIchigo In my case, it's usually buying 2+ games after beating a game in my backlog lol.
Same here, the majority of my backlog is unplayed XD.
