The upcoming Assassin's Creed title is being revealed next Tuesday, and according to Polygon, it won't be called Assassin's Creed Victory, as previously rumoured. Instead, it'll boast the subtitle 'Syndicate', which sounds a touch more ominous to us.
According to the leaked marketing material that the publication obtained, the game will indeed be set in London during the industrial revolution. A blurb states that the release will "transport millions of gamers to an astonishing recreation of London during the Industrial Revolution where they will find themselves immersed in a game world they'll have to see to believe." Let's just hope that there aren't quite as many civilians clipping through the floor this time, eh?
Our Assassin protagonist this time around will allegedly be called Jacob Frye, and players who pre-order at retailer GameStop will supposedly nab a shilling necklace - an accessory that Jacob wears in the game. Do you like the sounds of all this? What do you want to see during next week's livestream reveal? Tune in with us in the comments section below.

Are they doing the last gen - this gen game split again?
@rjejr I doubt it, since Unity was PS4 only. They'll want to make a really detailed world again - let's just hope it isn't quite as buggy!
Does anyone else think it's strange that they haven't announced Assassin's Creed Rogue for PS4 yet?
Im SO cautious when it comes to UBI games. I love victorian London though so this time around I won't give to hoots but only one and retain a minimum of interest!

Only started playing Unity this week (it's been sat on my shelf since xmas) and finding the controls way too clunky and unresponsive.
Hope they improve on this, along with all the bugs, as the London setting would definitely be worth looking at
@realbehan88 You have to play the game at a pedestrian pace and not get spotted.The games really struggles when there's a lot going on and you're sprinting around.
@Wesker Yeah I'm finding that, maybe it's my gung ho approach that's not helping!
When the movement and combat works well then the game is really enjoyable, but when it all goes wrong it is unbelievably frustrating
@realbehan88 Exactly!
@rjejr I'm pretty sure they said rogue was the final last gen AC title but don't quote me on that. It's probably for the best if they focus on current gen only this time around to help prevent the launch issues from last year
The setting and overall setup sounds really cool. I still have faith in Ubisoft bringing this series back to its former glory
It will be a game were you are hired by a tyranical overlord in the houses of parliament to topple opposing leaders to his powers, destoying them and leaving a clear path to victory. No not assasins creed London, the election 2015.
Has Unity even been fixed yet? Or are they simply sweeping it under the rug and hoping that gullible consumers have forgotten (as usual)?
After this AC , I believe more of us want an AC out of Europe, though I wouldn't mind seeing a AC in Russia. AC in Ethiopia, Asia , South America.
@Kage_88
Works fine for me on Xbox One. And it's actually a pretty good game, like DriveClub is now as well. Unfortunately that horrendous first impression lingers though. And this game is definitely not a day one purchase because of that. I'm sure this game will still sell 1 mil in a week regardless, however.
I enjoyed Unity, but not as much as Black Flag, so I'll just remain cautiously optimistic about this one.
