Despite some welcome performance improvements being implemented as part of patch v1.03, there are still some areas that cause the PlayStation 4 version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's framerate to chug. This is something that developer CD Projekt Red is looking into, and will likely be addressed in a future update.
Speaking of which, the Polish studio has outlined some of the features that will be included as part of patch v1.04 on Sony's new-gen system. Some of the highlights include significantly enlarged user interface elements, including more readable fonts. It's also promising improved camera smoothness, as well as solutions to dozens of known quest issues.
There's no word on when this will be available just yet, but the developer has been pretty good at rolling these out fast, so we suspect that it'll arrive sometime next week. If you're planning on using the infinite XP glitch, then you may want to take advantage of it now, as the firm will be sticking a sword in that, too.
We've included the full list of confirmed tweaks below, but be aware that there may be some spoilers as part of the descriptions. Also, keep in mind that things are always subject to change.

All welcome! To be honest I'd be happy if I could turn some of the weather effects off, looks nice but it struggles most during storms. Can't see that happening though.
But overall so far it's the best open world game I've played.
I guess these days those that pre-order, and day one purchasers, are basically gaming companies' beta testers.
@Eldritch Never heard that one before!!
@kyleforrester87 Good thing I mentioned it then.
"Geralt will no longer interact with candles near chests and other interactive elements."
This might sound like a small thing but makes me very happy... I can't count how many times I have tried to loot something only to light a candle haha.
Also fix the play time clock please. Mine keeps starting over... I have been up to around 30 hours twice only for it to reset. I haven't lost any progress it's just the clock but still sucks.
@GraveLordXD To be honest it doesnt really annoy me lighting the candles etc. Has happened a few times mind you but just have to adjust the character a little. Guess a fix is good, though.
I'm trying to figure out how far I am through..Level 14 so guess I could goto Skellige. minor spoiler I'm in Novigrad, just been finding Dandelions ladies and heard the bards song. Been playing a while but still feels I've quite a bit left.
@GraveLordXD Nice, to be honest I'm kind of trying to take it slowish while they patch everything so I can get the optimum experience, doubt it'll replay it straight after so want to get the most out of my first run through!
I'm still trying to figure out how this game is only around 30 GB's? I'm not sure how they pulled that off with how massive the game is.
This game has a ton of minor bugs littered throughout.
Also, it's arguably the greatest open world ever created in a video game, so all is forgiven.
Agreed. The best open world rpg game yet. Better than skyrim. Its more difficult and more of an in depth rpg. Even the voice acting is good for once. Im still fairly early on in the game so I haven't come across any glitchy quests yet, but enlarging the fonts will make it so much better for me.
Ive only just completed the relatively early mission'Wandering in the Dark'. Amazing game but id be quite happy to have 99% of the candles removed. Ive also been victim to accidentally stealing from guards and causing them to go hostile because i started to sprint too close to a chest and accidentally looted it.
@huntinio Ha, try that excuse in court!
@Splat Yeah I've noticed the play timer is wrong, mine keeps jumping around and currently says 5 days and 8 hours. Unfortunately, I've not actually had that much time...it's probably more like 50.
I'm level 20 and am being pretty thorough. I want to do pretty much every side quest, contract etc before I finish. I've also recently discovered how much I enjoy Gwent so now got another 10 hours of enjoyment from that I think.
I've started a new playthrough on the hardest difficulty. It's not really that hard, but it takes a lot longer to slice up enemies and some even regenerate health which is rather frustrating.
I'm intrigued to what I can do different in this playthrough. It seemed pretty straightforward the first time I played it.
