We've seen some pretty dumb glitches during our time with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, but nothing particularly nefarious. The same can't be said for often hilarious YouTube user Tyrannicon, however, who's put together a short video of non-playable characters and their long, melted faces.
Complete with eerie music and dark, stormy weather, the video's well worth a watch if you're interested in seeing how the open world title looks when it's eager to destroy itself. Is your face slowly dropping from the contours of your skull? Gather yourself in the comments section below.

I have about 30 hours into the witcher and have only seen a few glitches. None of them have ruined or changed the experience however.
Oh man. I can't stop laughing. Do game companies not test games anymore?
Given how this isn't a widely reported issue, I'm inclined to suggest that these probably weren't all discovered during "normal" gameplay. Seems more likely that he's messed around with something behind the scenes to me (probably on the PC version, where I assume that would be easier to do).
@SteveButler2210 Yeah, it seems like some of these glitches have been captured through freely moving the camera when the game hasn't loaded in certain assets yet. Definitely PC version, but funny all the same.
Yeah, I haven't ran in to any of this... The clock that keeps track of how long you have played keeps resetting for me though.
@Riririn Pretty sure this is a mod as it clearly isn't actual gameplay. I've not seen anyone reporting actually having these issues.
He must be a true dragonborn hero
@LordBagardo haha
Has anyone experienced the supposed game breaking glitch that came in the recent patch that doesn't reward exp for any quests? I'm kind of scared to play the game till it gets fixed...
@ztpayne7 Not me.
All up to date etc, and still getting all exp as per normal.
@ztpayne7 no problems for me either, only glitch I have is a man who has decided that gravity is not for him just outside the Border post, so I just run underneath him when crossing the bridge. I really should start doing some quests rather than just playing gwent but it's too addictive
@ShogunRok I had 11000 crowns which I saved up without using the money exploit and for some reason I lost 7000 crowns. Im not sure if its a common issue or not. Have you heard anything? Im really gutted about it as it took me the best part of a week to save. Any info would be much appreciated.
I couldn't stop laughing when watching this video!
@ztpayne7 Yeah it has been happening to me too. Im thinking about not playing it for a while until they've fixed most of the bugs/glitches.
The worst bugs/glitch I have come across is the one that takes your hard earned crowns away. I saved up 11000 crowns only to lose 7000 for some unknown reason.
I haven't seen any glitches like this. Infact, I think some of those were created by the uploader as its clearly running on PC and maybe he's been playing around with the settings to get the game to behave in that way. I've put over 70hrs in and seen nothing like that.
I am just tired to record this game glitches. Yesterday, I was running through Novigrad and one of my completed quests suddenly have become active again. And I spent aroun 30 minutes trying to complete it, but it seems like I can't because I've already completed it.... ___..... Quest name is Of Dairy and Darkness, if I remember correctly. I have no idea how to complete it again =(... So stupid, hell...
About 30 hrs in on PS4 and have only seen 1 glitch....(NPC slightly levatated)
@ztpayne7 Not experienced it myself or at least not noticed it so far. The problem is when you do quests that are 6 or more levels below you so if you leave these until after the patch, it shouldn't be an issue.
I have noticed a few 'glitches' in my 80/90hrs. Nothing game breaking - the odd NPC a few feet off the floor after a dialogue sequence, a few minor clipping issues and once a deer caught in a tree...
@WARDIE I haven't heard about any glitches like that. Maybe the last patch alters it so you lose money from using the exploit? Could be, but no way to be certain.
I've only seen a couple of persistent glitches, constantly see floating beggars and horses with beards.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi LOL wow
@ztpayne7 I haven't, only reason I've not earned XP is when I'm 6 levels above quest
He uses a mod that lets you unlock camera and move it free of Geralt. This is how NPC look when your far away of them and not looking in their direction. Game uses this to free up resources for things your not looking at and its quite normal. You shouldn't even see it but thanks to the free camera mod its easy to capture all that what you saw in the video.
