Battlefield Hardline's PS4 Ultimate Edition Won't Let You Access DLC

Game over, man

According to a number of reports, the rather pricey Battlefield Hardline Ultimate Edition for PlayStation 4 won't let you access the recently released Criminal Activity DLC, even though it's supposed to. The real kicker, though, is that the slightly cheaper premium version of the game doesn't appear to have this problem.

"Right now we are looking at all the digital versions on PS4 to make sure everyone can download. Best update I can give you right now," the title's multiplayer producer Zach Mumbach said.

"This is a big mess up that shouldn't happen," he continued. "I do know we learned a big lesson on this one. We'll learn from the mistake, use it to improve our pipeline, and move forward with an apology. All we can do at this point."

No comments so far I guess this is because there are very few crazy people that can hold down a job and still think this edition is worth while. Maybe just a few spoilt kids have it bought as presents.

Don't like this battlefield, it's too much like a Counter Strike clone after all

Kinda ruins the point of a Ultimate Edition don't you think? Since it costs a very pretty penny, I'd understandingly be very upset.

I'm so glade I didn't fall for this Battlefield crap again, I dodged one hell of a bullet. After getting basically screwed by the launch of both bad company games and BF3 & 4, They won't get me into buying another BF game. I didn't get hardline because I learned how to read between the lines (even though it took me awhile to get to this point). Hopefully for DICE sake Battlefront doesn't suffer the same fate as all their previous shooter games. while successful as they were, the launches were brutal to say the least and basically was just built off of hype alone.
