Do you know what the PlayStation Vita needs? Well, a few non-Japanese strategy games would be nice. The system's blessed with more tactical role-playing releases than you'll find in a Super Potato store, but when it comes to titles such as Tropico, it's a barren wasteland. And that's a shame, as its various touch interfaces make it a great fit for those kinds of games.
Fortunately, there's hope for the device yet, as PEGI has listed Civilization Revolution 2 Plus for release on the pocketable platform. This is almost certain to be a port of the moderately popular iOS and Android game from last year, with the title likely to debut at E3 2015 later in the month. Ratings boards rarely categorise products that don't exist – but if you need more evidence, this has also been listed in Brazil.
The game itself is a simplified version of the enormously popular Civilization series on the PC, and sees you tasked with building an empire from humble beginnings. It features various famous political faces of yore, such as Abraham Lincoln and Winston Churchill. T'would be nice to see 2K Games publish something of this scope on the handheld – especially after those "legacy" comments, eh?

I would love to see a Civ game for Vita, I just hope is not like a mobile game, with energy and microtransactions. I still play the on on my DS
Think I had 1 or 2 on my 360 for free. I remember playing it for ridiculous hours at a time, but think this sort of game would be awesome deppending on the price.
I hope this game comes out soon.
Wow...
I'd be up for this - played the 360 version for many, many hours.
If it is anything like the one on x360 I will buy this. But I fear it will be the lite bullshit version of iOS.
I'd like to see the Bioshock iOS port be the next vita release.
