Evolution Studios is currently implementing a "significant" DriveClub server upgrade which should, fingers crossed, pave the way for the long overdue PlayStation Plus version. Writing on the game's official Facebook page, the studio stressed that the systems powering the title's innovative Challenges system are being "replaced and upgraded" as we type. This is bad news for existing players as you may lose some progress in ongoing online events – but obviously this minor inconvenience will result in a net positive for everyone.
It's a busy day for the Runcorn-based developer, as it's also set to drop the title's latest patch. This will implement various changes to the aforementioned Challenges mode, made possible due to the upgraded servers. It will also incorporate several major technical improvements, while adding more #PS4Share pictures to the menu screen. You can peruse the full patch notes through here. Are you still waiting patiently for the PlayStation Plus edition of this underrated racer? Test your brakes in the comments section below.

Were is the private races they promised. I love DC but find it ridiculous there is no option for private races.
@WARDIE Yes it is a bit crazy, only realised recently. I think it's to try to keep people in a public pool and keep the servers busy. I guess they are worried a lot of people would just race amongst their friends given the option.
The Plus version of the game better have more than it was going to intially after all this time.
Um yeahhh, o just went ahead and bought this months ago, forget all the waiting. It was fun for a bit then I stopped playing.
Maybe it will be one of those " and you can download it right now" announcements at E3.
@Jaz007 Then buy the full version you can get it now pretty cheap.
Today's game update has fudged the replays. Even for single-player, your car now has your name and icon above it in the replay, which looks utterly ridiculous... and you can't turn it off as far as I can tell.
The fact it doesn't have split-screen is the one reason I will never buy it.
Too late for me. Loving Project Cars and see no point in having an arcade racer and a sim.
