You win some, you lose some. And Sony has definitely missed out when it comes to Cuphead, the intriguing 1930s cartoon-inspired run-'n'-gun shooter from Canadian outfit Studio MDHR. You may have spotted during Microsoft's press conference that this was listed as a console exclusive for the Xbox One β and the Redmond firm has reiterated that point.
Speaking on an official stream watched by Game Reactor, the platform holder clarified that both it and Ashen β the slightly less exciting survival game β will never come to another console. They will both release on the PC, though, so you can certainly still play them there if you wish. Just, er, cross the PlayStation 4 off your list.

The art style is certainly the best feature from my perspective but the game play doesn't appeal and seems quite generic for its genre. I doubt I will play it - unless like a lot of 'indie' games it ends up on GwG...
That's dissapointing to hear, but at least I have an xbox, so I can play it.
This and Below are the two XB1 games that interest me the most, shame we'll not get them on PS4. Maybe on PS5, a la Meatboy.
when i saw the first trailer for this a while back i thought it looked SO good, mind you i LOVE old cartoons. im disappointed but then i remember im getting fallout4, streetfighter5, the last guardian, mg phantom pain etc etc etc etc etc etc etc soon!
This looks amazing but I'm pretty sure it's going to be on Steam, too.
