There's been much debate over whether Final Fantasy XV will actually show up at this year's E3, especially since Square Enix will be hosting its own press conference. However, as detailed during the publisher's latest active time report livestream, Noctis and the gang won't be putting in an appearance at the Los Angeles event.
Game director Hajime Tabata stated that the Japanese development team had a trailer ready for E3, which begins later this month. However, when Square Enix's Western arms caught wind that said trailer wouldn't show any new footage, the idea was quickly shot down. Good job, we reckon - can you imagine the internet hate if a trailer consisting purely of reused footage showed up at E3? It's not even worth thinking about.
With that in mind, the company once again confirmed that the title's next big showing will be at German expo Gamescom, which takes place in August.

Won't be at E3 2016 either. Really can't see this coming out any time soon.
Well we already knew that. But the question remains, will we at least see KH3 at E3? =/ Come the bloop on SqEn!
I know some games take awhile to make, but come on SE!
Slightly worrying that there's nothing new to show. Frankly at this rate it seems we'll be lucky if it releases this generation - it's taken months just to make some tweaks to the demo! :S
This needs to release in the near future, otherwise I'm just going to stop caring.
I'm not sure why they even bothered to make a trailer with reused footage, surely they must have known it was a bad idea.
I'm sure at this point, Reused game stuff = Money.
Jokes aside, unless they show some KH3 or maybe a Sleeping Dogs sequel, I doubt I'll care about their presentation.
i don;t buy it... SE being master of teaser. this game being their biggest flagship, they will put it in the show for sure...
Won't be out before 2020, not sure which comes first, this or gt7, you know like the chicken......., ya get it
