Camp first-person affair Shadow Warrior will be getting a sequel, Devolver Digital has revealed. The original was cheesier than a [Simile removed in the interest of readers' digestive systems – Ed], so expect more of the same low-brow humour and gory gameplay. The series stars a character named Lo Wang, which should tell you all that you need to know about its tone.
No platforms have been announced at the time of typing, but the PlayStation 4 seems like a sound bet right now. The previous entry did deploy on the PC first, but ended up waving its willy gags on Sony's new-gen system soon after. Has this announcement got you hard? Nope, you probably shouldn't have written that previous sentence, Sammy.

I actually really enjoyed the first one since the gameplay was lots of fun and the jokes were enough to make me smile. Probably gonna pick this up assuming it comes out for the same price as the first.
YES !!
The first one was amazing, easily the best "old-school-next-gen-remake" game go flying wild hog, somebody shouls give these guys Duke Nukem, they clearly know how to revive a series !
If you have a PC go check Hard Reset, thats another excelent game.
Couldn't get into the first one
The previous Shadow Warrior was one of my first PS4 games, and I loved it's old-school style and mentality. The action and combat were fun, and the dialog was genuinely funny and enjoyable. I hope this one maintains the gameplay and humor and just improves everything like a good sequel ought to.
I'll keep an eye out for it.
PS4 confirmed

I loved the first game as well, really fun gameplay, and even plot wise, it took some very interesting turns, which I did not expect at all. Graphics wise looked a little bit rough, but if these screenshots are accurate, they've definitely stepped up their game.
