The calm after the storm? Those ripples you see in the glass of water before you are not from a nearing T-Rex, but from a tidal wave of software instead. What are the memberships for planetside all about? And that tony hawks pre order? Who in their right mind would pre order that?
@themcnoisy No idea, but I assume it works similarly to DC Universe Online where you get... Like, extra stuff if you pay the monthly membership fee. You can totally play without, though, I believe.
Are those new 52 skins only available in the US?? Can we get them here in the UK???
Going to be picking up Shantae for sure.
Got Batman, the free new 52 skins, Tales from the Borderlands ep 3. Does anyone know if DMC 4 has a plat? If so I may snag that too since last time I had it on my 360.
@vegeta11 it does. It has a plat for getting all other trophies. Working on it now. So far it appears to all just be "best game on this difficulty" or "beat this mode with this character". So far it's a blast. And the DLC is pretty useless (got the Trish and Lady skins free though), since you get orbs and whatnot by playing.
@vegeta11
Yeah, has a plat. And with all the extra content, it's worth a purchase for the reasonable price. Kind of glad I never got more than halfway through back in 2008, so it's kind of a new experience.
@Gamer83 @B3ND3R thanks guys. I will probably grab this later this summer when Yu-Gi-Oh forces me to go pick up a PSN card. Loved all 5 DMC games (even the attempted reboot). Sounds like a worthwhile time then.
@vegeta11
Waiting might pay off. I got a feeling this is one of those games we could see in a late-summer sale.
Only just truly realised the extent to which we in the UK get totally stiffed by the prices. Converting the US price works out at £38.07 for Arkham Knight, which will almost definitely cost £50-55 on the EU store!
@SteveButler2210 I realised this years ago. But lets be honest the yanks fight for their consumer rights whilst us brits let it happen. Its our own fault.
@SteveButler2210 You can make a US account and buy it that way, right? US prices also don't include tax. If you add the 20% VAT onto £38 you then £45.60 as the price, so it's not quite as bad as it seems.
Also it's only £39 on Amazon.
@Matroska interesting, seems odd that they don't include the VAT in their prices. Pretty misleading! And thanks for the tip on the amazon price, I'd assumed it'd be £50 as it's a big game, might have to pick this up when I get paid tomorrow after all!
I'll be picking up Devil May Cry 4 as soon as the EU PSN Store updates, and picking up Arkham Knight Friday.
What happened to sharing the sales?
Now you need to click the link on the blog update and go to the store to see what's on sale every week. Very annoying.
Rember when cheat codes unlocked all modes as gave you extra money, rather than real money. Those were good days.
Good thing I'm not being pestered with new titles on the Vita: my backlog is big enough.
@Matroska PSN accounts these days require you to have a credit card of that region in to add money into your wallet, unless you already have a pre paid voucher. They don't "want" you to import games. But they also wont stop you completely. I think it's for safety.
