Courtesy of Famitsu, we've got our first look at PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 action role-playing game Tales of Berseria. Featuring Velvet, the release's rather stylish protagonist, and a big, menacing boat, it seems like the latest title in the Tales Of series is going to set sail with some swashbuckling pirate themes.
When we stop to think about it, it could be a pretty cool concept to explore, especially given the franchise's history of particularly colourful characters. Take a quick look at the images that we've embedded, and beach yourself in the comments section below.

Looks great!
Pah. The only pirate related RPG I want in my life is a Rogue Galaxy remaster!
That said, this could still be pretty cool!
I bet 10 bucks that outfit will be changed for the international version. lol They always censor JRPGs.
@Riririn Well I can only think of examples where the characters looked like children. Like that loli race in Tera and the SD style in Bravely Default along with the character ages stated at 16 or so. Even then we still get unaltered Etna and clothes ripping off in Omega Quintet.
Anyway, hopefully you can really sail around freely in this, like Black Flag or WW. I found Xillia incredibly flat, joyless and limited, and this series is never about revolutionary changes between games. Next E3 Sony should announce the Japanese PS3 Vesperia is finally coming West.
