And we're off. Unless you're a big Nintendo fan – we've heard that there are one or two of you out there – then Bethesda's big E3 2015 press conference may have just marked the start of your show. The company took to the stage tonight to host its first ever Los Angeles-based media briefing, where it showcased a handful of blockbuster titles – including Fallout 4, DOOM, and Dishonored 2.
But how do you think that the organisation fared? Were you impressed by id's first-person reboot – or was it the post-apocalyptic wastelands of Boston that tickled your fancy? Were you disappointed to learn that you'll have to wait until next year for DOOM – or did Fallout's surprise holiday release make up for it? Dust yourself off from the madness of the media briefing, vote in our poll, and then dissect the live stream in the comments section below.
How would you rate Bethesda's E3 2015 press conference? (52 votes)

Very, very, very impressive press conference!
There should be an option better than Very Good. How about "Possibly the Best Show I've Ever Seen at E3"?
@Cowboysfan-22 It's... Up there. What a pleasant surprise this show was!
I accidentally voted on "meh" .... It was good though but very good .... Well not so sure about that but as their very first one, i say mighty impressive.
Brilliant presser, no filler whatsoever. Bethesda gets it.
A really, really good show, very impressive for the first time in the E3.
It was VERY good, I'll get Doom eventually when it comes out and price goes down. And I like the multiplayer mode. Dishonored 2 looks cool, I need to play the first one! (Got it on Plus.)
And Fallout 4, omg I'm so glad it's coming out this year!!!!! Gonna be my first Fallout! Glad it can be played in third-person
Excellent way to start E3. The bar has been set very high for everybody else.
the best .
Loved it.
Not a fan of any of Bethesda games but that was a good press conference.
Great conferenc, great coverage Sammy....i assume shogunrok will covering the squareenix conference at the brutal time of 6pm(uk)?😜
Besides Fallout 4, Bethesda show was pretty decent, but nothing too shocking. Doom looked great on its MP, the SP looked somewhat meh (i can tell you assasinations will get boring... fast), Battlecry was... yeah just leave it at that, TESO its pretty dead to me so whatever and Dishonored 2, cool but we didnt see anything.
Felt really short, but I guess that was because they wasted NO time at all on filler, which is a good thing, I suppose! I can't help but wish there was just a bit more, but still...a plethora of DOOM and Fallout 4 gameplay, and a reveal trailer for Dishonored 2? I've been left a very happy man by Bethesda's conference. Good show!
@3Above
Feel the same, don't care at all about the games but can't deny how good the conference was presentation wise, let's hoping other conferences measure up
@teknium_ I'm covering them all!
Anyway saying the press conference was meh need to GTFO!! I was pretty blown away! The Dishonored 2 reveal, seeing Doom in action, new ESO content, and seeing Fallout 4 in action with the release date announcement at the end made me weep tears of joy!
They hit a homerun that flew out of the stadium and landed on a car outside!
@ get2sammyb is the bannana ok
I honestly don't care =).
Doom awesome - This is more down to the pacing of the demo
Fallout awesome - This is more down to the guy presenting fallout 4 as he was super passionate
I would give this presentation a 6/10.
Battle cry looks particularly terrible.Yet another card game and Dishonoured ultimate edition.... Yawnsville.
This is the game I was waiting for finally buy me a PS4!
I didn't watch it live so I am only basing it on the news and videos I have seen so far. I thought overall it was good.
Doom looked mindless and very old school. I didn't get any sense of 'story' like Doom 3 had and the action looked very retro with a lot of 'gore' thrown in to offset the lack of depth. The game itself looks great visually and could be great fun in small doses - just have to wait for my beta access (after buying Wofenstein) to see. It may not be a day 1 purchase though.
Fallout 4 looked pretty much as expected but I still can't get over how 'last gen' a lot of the characters look. The world itself looks good and more colourful than Fallout 3, the crafting looks interesting etc. Overall it looked pretty much what you expect Fallout 4 to be.
Dishonoured Remaster - nothing surprising here - its a remaster of a game I found to be average....
Dishonoured 2 - well this was a Surprise. After Dishonoured, I wasn't expecting much from the sequel but this looked interesting
Therefore overall Bethesda's conference was good from my perspective.
Absolutely loved it!
As a show, presentation and example of how to do it it was good (if only the morons in the crowd could keep their mouths shut - "WOAH!" when someone reloads a shotgun, for example). For the games it was meh. Fallout is still leaving me very cold, looks off and there's no "wow!" factor; Doom I've never liked, halfway through the bits on it I started playing on my phone as besides the visuals it's just meh; and I was yawning though Dishonoured 2 while I just rolled my eyes at the remaster. Makes you wonder how many of these companies are going to actually support PS Now when they can just port a game over and get all the money themselves.
I was already so happy after watching the Nintendo World Championships but omg...OMG.. OMG LIKE OMG.
seriously...OH MY GAWD Doom already did it for me but friggin Fallout with building stuff and making sexy avatars?? I will ascend to heaven this November.
And the graphics are gorgeous, people who say it looks old and boring need to get their eyes checked. Of course it wont look like Doom..its open world and you can build whatever you want! squeeee
My buddy and i watched it together, and minus the tf looking game just sat there amazed. Then fallout 4 started talking customizations and rendered us both dumbfounded. Just speechless. Its hearthstone on steroids. Prompty preordered pip boy edition last night.
Fallout 4 and nothing more to me.
Nothing was announced or talked that I have any interest in, so the conference was poor for me. The others should be better. I made the right call by not watching it.
Fallout looks really good, and I might have to get it for Xmas.
Doom looks good, but I'm not convinced it recaptures the soul of the original games like I was hoping it would, still a while until it releases though and it certainly has potential so I'll keep following it. Needs to have 30+ enemies running around at once, pure chaos. That's what it's all about.
