Square Enix's E3 2015 press conference was a slightly more humble affair compared to the bombast of yesterday's pressers, but the publisher still managed to pack it with a diverse selection of games. The new Nier title announced for the PlayStation 4 was probably the biggest highlight, but the sumptuous new Kingdom Hearts III footage was worthy of mention, too.
But what did you think of the press conference? Did you enjoy the quiet and considerate delivery – or did you find it a bit boring overall? Take out your keyblade and unlock your thoughts in the comments section below.

Square Enix redeemed themselves for me.
This was SOOOOOOO BORING!!!! I nearly dozed off so I gave up halfway through! The Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer was pretty stellar though. Makes me wish I had played the first two so I actually know what the hell is going on...
It was a solid presentation, on par with Sony and Microsoft. It was nice to see both Japanese and Western developers involved.
Square Enix saved the day after the Nintendo fiasco.
I was really hoping for a surprise FFXII Remaster reveal. Bah!
Just Cause 3 will be bought, the rest I'm not that fussed about. Not at the moment anyway.
Very good, excluding somewhat trolling.
Between Just Cause 3 and Deus Ex I got a bit bored, but Just Cause 3 is coming out this year you guys! That's a good thing.
To be fair, it was an actual conference. It was a no frills event in which professionals discussed their projects with an audience. As I said in the livechat thing, I was actually more disappointed with the audience being so silent. The speakers mainly consisted of Japanese people who were trying to speak in a second language that's very different from their own, with the Japanese also being a lot more reserved than Americans on top of that. It could've done with more supportive applause rather than the audience staring and thinking "Why isn't this guy yelling at the top of his voice, rapping, lighting up like a Christmas tree, then flying off through the ceiling like a rocket?"
I liked Nier although various things prevented me from completing it. Seeing a new game in the series by the same crazy guy is really cool. KH3 is a must-buy for me, although that trailer didn't really do anything for me. I'm sure I saw that train battle part before. FFVII is really their project but Sony got to take the credit for it with their earlier announcement. Not bothered by Just Cause at all, I'll probably just wait for it to be on PS+ in 2018 or whatever.
If you want to see a terrible, boring conference that doesn't just deserve to be met with a wall of silence but also a wall of napalm, you should try to find the Level-5 one from a couple of months back. It has the atmosphere of a funeral as people spend hours talking about how to monetise toddlers, interspersed with bizarre J-pop live performances before veering suddenly back to lifeless speeches about selling little cardboard boxes to children after brainwashing them with a cartoon.

It was ok not great like Sony's or Bethesda but not as bad as EA or Nintendo.
Only Deus Ex really appealed to me. Just Cause 3 looked OK but I found 2 repetitive and mindless so kind of indifferent to 3. Nier looked interesting but too far off and not enough details to get interested yet.
Main issue for me was the delivery and presentation itself - it was very poor and it didn't help generate excitement or interest.
I'd say meh. It wasn't a success but not a fail by any means either. The pacing sucked and the crowd sucked but there was some good content. I'd say not as good as Bethesda, Sony or Microsoft but definitely better than Ubisoft and EA. Haven't seen Nintendo's yet so can't judge that one.
I would have liked a release date for KH3 tho...
the presentation, pacing, ect was bad but the actual game trailers and reveals were pretty good..... Very glad to see them expressing a commitment to RPGs....
by the way does anyone know who the two guys playing chess on the KH3 trailer were? Young Xehanort and Eraqus?
It was ok but still the best presentation today. I only wish Nintendo could have had a strong E3 this year then all of the big 3 console manufacturers would have given gamers something to shout about. Seems to me Nintendo have their eye on the NX
Yea, still no release date for KH3. Has it been in under development for at least four years now?
