Oh, Sony. We're not going to chastise you for accidentally announcing Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection – but we are going to bust your balls over the atrocious name. Don't you think that it's a little too similar to a certain other video game compilation? And if you're going to go down that route, surely Uncharted: The Master Thief Collection would have been better?
Either way, Naughty Dog's seminal PlayStation 3 adventures are coming to the PlayStation 4 – presumably this year. Greg Miller, ex-IGN employee and current Kinda Funny host, spotted a pre-order page for the release on the PlayStation Store. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End writer Neil Druckmann then tweeted: "Well, that hit a few hours too early. See you in the AM."
From what we can tell, this wasn't ever planned as an E3 announcement, so no press conference surprises have been spoiled. It seems like it was set to be revealed at some point later today, however. Of course, rumours regarding this package have been rife for years, with the latest speculation hinting that Bluepoint Games will be handling the ports.
Judging from the artwork, it looks like Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception will be included on the disc; there's no mention of PlayStation Vita exclusive Uncharted: Golden Abyss. The question is: does this sound like buried treasure to you? Perfect the half-tuck in the comments section below.

@readyletsgo If it's announced that Bluepoint is doing this... I still think the Vita version will make it across. They've been specifically hiring someone to convert a Vita game to PS4.
They could be working on Gravity Rush, though. Seems more likely they'd be put on Uncharted to me...
@get2sammyb oh man, I hope that's true and included in this collection. Just realized, it says collection, not trilogy, so hopefully that means all the previous games.
Will be purchasing. Love ND and never beat 2 or 3.

@xVAKAR1ANx I can't believe they haven't gone with that - especially seeing as they've stolen the Master Chief Collection title anyway!
I have stated many times that Uncharted is probably my favourite 'exclusive' franchise on any system and that I would definitely buy a 'remastered' collection for PS4. I am sure I said in my E3 prediction that we would see a compilation of at least 1-3 this year (around November give or take a month) - especially with 4 due in 2016 and Sony must be aware of all the 'newcomers' to the Playstation Nation too.
Personally I hope that 'Golden Abyss' does make it to the compilation as its the only Uncharted game I haven't played - I almost bought a Vita just for this!
It does seem 'odd' and not very 'inspiring' to call it the Nathan Drake collection as it obviously won't contain 'every' Nathan Drake game - well when 4 comes out. I liked the 'Master Thief Collection' name but I think it maybe too 'close' to that 'other' collection. I guess the name isn't important overall though. As Nathan Drake is in the Golden Abyss, maybe it will be included....
If/When confirmed (regardless of if it contains 'Golden Abyss' or not), it will be a 'definite' buy - even above the majority of 'new' games.
Golden abyss had easily the best story in the series. I hope it gets some love.
My friend will be excited to hear this. If the Vita port is true, my friend will also be glad about that since he has no interest in handheld systems and i can give my brother when he gets a PS3 my copies of Uncharted 1-3.

Great games though I doubt I'll double dip on these. Only played them a few years ago and my backlog's too damn big as it is!
finally a chance to play all three who knows, it might make me want uncharted 4! This is perfect for people like me who skipped most of PS3's lifecycle.

I played Uncharted 1 back in about February, it holds up pretty well, it is reflective of game design of that time.....but it's still fun.

@get2sammyb Wow the Master Thief Collection idea really made me laugh. The Nathan Drake collection is odd though. Is there even a game in the series that Nate isn't in? Halo has Reach, lacking Chief as the main playable character, but I got all 4 Uncharted platinums and last I checked you do play as Nate in all of them.

Not to bothered about games i have played already on the PS3. Even if they are 1080p/60fps blah blah blah er so what Cool tho for people who didn't own a PS3. Worth playing them for them. The only 1 Trilogy i am still waiting for & i will get is 'TimeSplitters Trilogy' (doubt it will come out tho & 'TS:Rewind' i can't see ever being finished(& coming to the PS4 to) to, oh well)

@jonny_aces Yep, The Mass Effect trilogy and a Batman Arkham collection would be ace! They're not for everyone, but as someone who missed a chunk of the last generation, these remasters are right up my street.

Bruh...where's the Beyond Two Souls remaster for Ps4 that's been rumoured for months? Uncharted collection is weak Sony.
So I'm taking it will be 1080p/60fps. A nice collection before Uncharted 4 & people that never played them, hopefully it includes all three games.
I also wouldn't bet on an big improvement graphics-wise, depending on who's porting them that is.

Yeah, that's a bad name. You play as Nathan Drake in every game. It's not like they couldn't have just called the Uncharted collection. The Master Chief collection made sense, as it only had the games where you play as him, and skipped the other Halo games. This, this just sounds weird.
I may or may no get this yet, not entirely sure considering I played and beat 1-3 on PS3 very recently.
It's as if they'd make a FF7 game collection and call it Cloud Strife collection. How cheesy.
1 hasn't aged too well (still fun though) 2 and 3 are still ace but man PS4 first party wise is becoming the remaster system, I just think all these remasters are coming too early.

I have never played these games so I am super stoked! I hear a lot of negative things about the first Uncharted. But will I not notice the annoyances since I haven't played 2 and 3?
@zeldagaymer93 definitely start with the first uncharted and go in order. It holds up a lot better than people give it credit for. It will make you appreciate the jump from 1-2 that much more though. You probably won't be as bothered playing the first though if you have yet to touch the others
I loved the trilogy but I'm only interested in Golden Abyss since It's the only one I never played it.
