While we were all getting giddy over The Last Guardian, one Brazilian man was attempting a robbery – with a DualShock 2. The perpetrator – arrested for the second time in four months – was caught wielding a cordless PlayStation 2 controller, pretending that it was a weapon. He was also found to be in possession of stolen money and a mobile phone.
Y'know, we probably shouldn't laugh, but this is the most bizarre story that we've written all week – including the one where Shenmue III was announced. If you're going to use a video game controller as a weapon, why not a Time Crisis gun or something? Alright, it may not look like a real firearm – but neither does a DualShock 2!

Could be worse, Sony uses Vitas as paper weights.

Ever been hit in the head with a controller? It can hurt. Though I'd probably use an Xbox controller if I wanted a weapon.
He should have used the Japanese Famicom "zapper" that just looks like a regular revolver. What a noob.
@Riririn could have been worse, he could have been walking round with a super scope on his shoulder! Haha
@Mrskinner My brother used to paint his water pistols black with a permanent marker. Even a kid would do it better. lol
He should have gone with the classic way..... using your finger is cheaper....lol.......and if concealed it's the right shape too.....lol.
At least he wasn't shot by authorities thinking he really was armed (though a case could be made that if he'd been fatally shot, he'd have definitely been a contender for a Darwin award)!
I will wait to see this on Fox's world's dumbest criminals.
