Can't sign into the PlayStation Network? Is the PlayStation Store unavailable? If the reports that we're getting sent are accurate, Sony's network is having some issues – but the company is aware.
According to the PSN's status page, you may have trouble getting games or applications to launch, and as mentioned, the store is experiencing problems. On our end, we can at least confirm that this is the case. We can't, for example, log in to The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, or access the store. We are signed in, however, but the 'What's New' tab also refuses to load.

Update (20:30PM BST): The PSN Status Page now mentions that you may have issues signing in or creating an account across all three consoles. It's getting worse at the moment, then.

I haven't even really been using my PS4, so it's fine with me really, they'll fix it before the day's end. When I'm done at work, I'm going home to power through more MGS4 so I can sell my PS3 at the end of the week.

@ShogunRok is eso worth getting now, I played it on its pc release and it was garbage
My PS vita is not logging in to the store.
It is back.on for me.
Having issues here in the netherlands as well. Last time it happened it took me 15mi utes but I did get online.
Hm, I was online but now I got booted of PSN as well
Been having issues for 2 hrs now, 1 minute i'm signed in, then I start a game, immediately I get signed out, then I manually sign in again and as soon as I go back to the game I get signed out again, i've since given up and just watching Netflix now
@kyleforrester87 I really dig it so far, then again, I've never been disappointed by any of the Metal Gear Solid games haha. I'll be sad when I beat 4, and then 5 later in the year. I think knowing Hideo won't be making them anymore, and also knowing that Konami is going to continue cranking them out with a different team that will probably ruin the franchise, is what bums me out the most about it though.
It pretends to let me sign in, just long enough to try some advanced warfare, until I hit "play online", then, ta da! You must sign in to use network features. F off, sony

@JesWood13 Yeah 4 is great, and with it being at the end of the series chronologically it's a nice finale.
It'll be a shame to see Kojima go. That said he's been talking about it since MGS2, and how he was training the team to "make MGS without him" so one would hope those left behind are able to pick up the torch. Nobody is irreplaceable and I think MG could still have a bright future. But it's dependant on how respectful Konami treat the franchise moving forward, the introduction of microtransactions is something of a bad omen but we'll remain optimistic...

@Neolit Haha, maybe. I don't doubt there is someone out there who could take MGS in a fresher, different but no less interesting direction as Kojima. Of course, the chances of finding that person are slim, especially with modern Konami at the wheel

It's getting to be a right pain this continued interruption of me playing eso. Maybe if sony had to refund part of the subscription fee to millions of users everytime it goes down, will ultimately kick their arses into gear and sort it out once and for all.

@StaffyDog It's becoming a real problem as far as I'm concerned, with regards to games that require a connection. People who enjoy the likes of Destiny and ESO shouldn't have to gamble with the network when they just want to log in and go online. It's all well and good saying that you should just play offline titles, but you can't expect people to just walk away from online games that they're invested in.
Also someone should definitly make the next one "Moan" instead of "Here we go again"

Well..it's starting to work for me now. It's let me get to the point of downloading the new PS+ games anyway. How quickly they are coming through is another matter. But 4 PS4 games, 5 with Drive Club, for the price of my subscription, bahhh I can't stay too mad.

I was just literally repeating the advice I got from Sony's customer service when Driveclub wasn't working back when it launched.
Sony should get its sh*t together and fast! Tonight was another night spend on the Xbox instead of the PS4 I intended to play on.

The sad state of PSN is really starting to make me wish I'd bought an Xbox One instead. I'm not sure if PSN outages get more press but it doesn't seem like Xbox live goes down every few days.
Wonder if it is lizard squad again...
