Who cares about Prime Day, anyway? Sony's launched a gigantic PlayStation Network Flash Sale in North America just in time for the weekend, and it spans a selection of stellar sci-fi titles. We'll start with the PlayStation 4 releases, because, let's be honest, that's what you came for. Highlights include Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for the rather handsome $30.00, Another World for the out of this world price of $1.60, and PixelJunk Shooter for the tidy $3.00. Downloadable hits such as Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved, Nom Nom Galaxy, and The Swapper are also available for seriously low fees.
Of course, this is a sale that spans all of Sony's systems, and so there are some tempting offers for PlayStation 3 fans as well. BioShock Infinite is a steal at $8.00, Proteus should help you to sleep for just $2.80, and Red Faction: Guerrilla is worth a shot at $4.00. And over on the Vita, several of the Hyperdimension Neptunia titles have been reduced – with Re;Birth 1 selling for the affordable fee of just $6.00. You can peruse the full set of offers and discounts through here, which includes an enormous list of movies, too.
The deals will run until 09:00AM PT on Monday, 20th July, so you've got plenty of time to make up your mind. If you do decide to nab anything on offer, however, do share your picks in the comments section below.

Too bad I own everything good already.
Dang, I'm pretty bummed that nothing is up for grabs on Vita. Even so, I pretty much on everything that's worth owning on that system (nearly a full 64gb card and own physical for all my games, so that's a ton of indies, PSone and PSP), so Idk what good it would have done anyways...
RE Revelations 2 is MIA of course. The last game to look forward to, and it's just a late port. Still, it was something at least.
Do the Uk/ Europe ever get any of these flash sales?
CAN YOU JUST LIST THE SALES?!
.... just click the link.
Too bad I already own most of this stuff already. I was just thinking that I'm kinda in the mood to play an FPS on my PS4, but the only one I currently own is Killzone: SF and Wolfenstein. I guess the Borderlands one is tempting, but I own the Vita version of the first one, and I don't really feel like dropping $30 right now. Oh well, I guess I'll just wait.
Good deal on the handsome collection.
It would be good if these regional based sales were opened up to all markets, might get Sony Europe to up their game if customers started spending their money elsewhere.
I'm not saying a thing... sigh
I wish the site put up the knockout sale that went up this week.
