Ever since public relations guy Aaron Webber has returned to SEGA, Sonic the Hedgehog's social media accounts have played host to a selection of memes, self-aimed jokes, and, now, even a video of some of Shia LaBeouf's infamous motivation. Keep in mind that this was posted on the official Sonic the Hedgehog YouTube channel.
If you'd like to know more about Webber's efforts to make game marketing a little more interesting, you should check out this interview he did with SEGAbits. Now, don't let your dreams be dreams in the comments below.

I have zero motivation to see any of le blah than necessary, and SEGAbits? Awful name. Using Hollywood to sell games they aint selling in the west. Ugh. Give us some Yakuza, Shenmue and I wouldn't object to some nice arcade remakes. Pffft.
I don't dislike Shia (I actually think he is a good actor), but what the heck was that? I'm not sure if it was so weird and bad it was good, or if it was just bad... It will give way some good gifs and memes at least.
I like him as an actor. And this was an I nteresting approach to marketing.
Now let's see if they actually make a good Sonic game worth the marketing dollars.
@ryanorly unfortunately a lot of people don't like le blah or Sega much anymore
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi I'll always have a place in my heart for Sega as I grew up with there consoles like, the Master System, Megadrive & Mega CD, Saga Saturn and the Dreamcast. I remember when I first completed Sonic 1,2 and 3. Also loved the semi secret Master System game that I didn't even know I had until my Chinese friend shown me how to access it. If memory serves me right it was called something like Snake of Snake maze but, it was nearly 30 years ago. To unlock it you had to hold down A & B and down on the D Pad which unlocked the game. Otherwise I would have just been playing Alex Kid.
Back then the big boys were Sega and Nintendo. I also remember seeing Sonic for the first time and being blown away by the graphics lol. I also needed a new TV as my Sega Mega Drive had this new lead I'd never heard of called, a scart lead. Then came the first game I became addicted to which was called Flashback and also Another World. Me and my friends couldn't believe our eyes. To us they were ultra realistic graphics lol.
I also remember hearing the words Sega when you turned on the Mega Drive and we were like... WOW! A voice on a console. We were like, this is the future lol. Its laughable now but back then it was mind blowing stuff lol
Aaron Webber is truly hilarious!

@WARDIE I recall all that, I don't remember playing anything but Alex the kid on the ms, I loved another world both on mega and ps4, I'm pretty poor at those kinda games so I've given up both times. Probably my fave of the old old systems is Roadrash, and I don't even like racing games.
I used to love Sonic as a kid growing up with my Megadrive, unfortunately that Sonic hasn't really existed for the last 20 years. Now he's an annoying teenager (just not in age) who has no idea what he wants to do and can't be controlled properly. He's also surrounded by an ever changing group of friends who are all equally annoying and have the most horrendous voices, even the guy bullying him has forgotten his own name he's that old.
There is only one more game I'd like to play with all these characters and it'd be a bit like Doom just so I can finish them all off 😀
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi I finished another world hd a week ago.
Sega has lost it pals, we have said this a gazillion times. They used to have cutting edge games and a savvy on the pulse marketing team. They now have terrible games and a weirdo in marketing. In the words of Alan Hansen that is a terrible combination.
@themcnoisy shocking
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi oh yeah that is " terribly shocking" lol.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi spent more hours than I care to count on Road Rash and Road Rash II when I was little. Absolute classics!
