We'll let you into a little secret: wrestling sucks. The only way for 2K Sports to flog copies of its latest grappling simulation after last year's abomination is to toss in novelty characters like The Terminator, then – which is exactly what it's doing with WWE 2K16 on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. That's right, if you step into the ring with a pre-order, you'll unlock access to two iterations of T-800 – one based upon the original 1984 movie, and another inspired by Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
Speaking of which, the trailer embedded below features a recreation of one of the most famous scenes from the latter flick, albeit replete with WWE superstars that you've probably never heard of. Still, it's nice to see California's leathery ex-governor doing something that doesn't involve the meerkats from the Compare the Market commercials for a change – even if he doesn't look quite so badass these days.

Non biased reviews and articles please. If you don't like wrestling, fine, others do. It irks me greatly to see an article opening with "xxx sucks".
I'm guessing Arnie being in the game is mostly down to him being a fan of WWE.
I was expecting to recognise at least one of the wrestlers. Guess most the ones I know have retired now.

Last game sucked but generally wrestling games make for fun coop/couch and party bouts - really love them. Create your own wrestler and let loose, who cares what the name is of that little prick you just squished under your boots?!

The hypocrisy of WWE as a whole is ridiculous. They took Hulk Hogan out of game and WWE history for comments he made in private, or so he thought. Before anybody kills me I don't agree with or condone said comments. However they put Terminator in the game. Played by a known womanizer with a history of sexual harassment. Sends mixed messages in my opinion.

It's just part of who you are as a person I feel whether you like this or think it's distasteful, without saying one is better than the other. I can understand people who are protective of their hobby or of the sport they like, but if you grew up like me you'd have a hard time if you let people offend you with for instance a piece like this. We kinda grew up in a "yo momma" culture where we took a piss at everything, but all in good fun. If you didn't get teased in my family, you knew you had actual problems because people felt sorry for you. So an article like this is exactly the way my dad or one of my brothers would approach wrestling if I was in to it, so I really like it.
Because I'm abroad for our business a lot I see lots of reactions to this sort of humor. In Japan, North Africa or America to a lesser extent, people have way more trouble with these things than Europeans, Ozzies or South Africans for some reason. So I guess it's a cultural thing as well, where people could find a (mildly) offensive article like this some sort of an attack on their "pride", or the pride of others. So I can totally see why people don't like it, but I for one had a smile on my face fhe minute I read the opener!

Ok guys let's stick to the article instead of attacking the writer. I have noticed it alot lately and quite frankly it's disqusting. If you don't like the writers here you don't have to come here there are plenty of sites out there. I have expressed my desire to see this site grow and become big (it's not and to tell users to blatanty go elsewhere is honestly unintelligent in your position, I've told @get2sammyb about writing some stuff, but he's never contacted me, but that's beside the point. I am willing to do some work to see the site thrive, but if you'd rather me leave, I'll actually listen one of these days and won't come back .
I'm just happy "PS3" was in the title, so I know they listen to feedback.
So this is a fake ad based on the 2nd Terminator movie, even though the 5th recently opened, w/ real wrestlers, none of whom look even remotely familiar? Guess that explains why Austin is on the cover.
That ad would have made sense if they showed Ahnuld's butt censored like on Naked and Afraid, and a CGI "where's the beef?" lady was sittin' on a bar stool and said - "There's the beef!" But that's the only way that ad is any good.
Whilst 2015 wasn't brilliant, it was a step in the right direction and I think 2k will take another step this year. Obviously there are issues to sort out, but I will allow them time, because I feel they deserve it after the years of stale THQ titles.
Though having the terminator in the game isn't a huge deal, I did quite enjoy the trailer. Gotta love Ambrose.

You say you want to see the site grow and the community is important, we'll who's is going to want to join a site where every article people insult the writers instead of discussing the article at hand. Think about that.
@Tasuki don't be so exaggerated. Most articles or reviews come and go without any major criticism. I can't speak for others but when I choose to critique the site, an article or a contributor it's because I truly believe that it's a bush league entry that shouldn't be published.
To be fair to Sammy, wrestling, or at least WWE and TNA, can be really hard to watch nowadays.
On topic: I really hope after this WWE stop messing around with Arnold for a while. Considering the lastest Terminator didn't turn out so great according to everyone, I don't really see why we need them in this game.

@DerMeister It's cause WWE has a soft spot for shamed celebrities. They were the same way with Pete Rose back in the late 90's early 2000s. Yet when it happens to one of their own they are quick to cut ties.
