The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has a new PlayStation 4 patch β apparently. While some members of the Push Square team have been able to download it without a hiccup, others are still waiting for it to become available. And we're not the only ones with issues: dozens of people have got in contact with us via social media asking when exactly the update will be available to download.
In fact, so wide-spread is the problem that CD Projekt Red has revealed on Twitter that it's currently investigating the availability issues, which seem to have struck Europe the hardest. Normally we'd put this down to the incompetence of SCEE, but seeing as some people have been able to grab the patch, we're baffled. Let's just hope that it's all resolved by the end of the day β after all, the update is ace.

It's a weird one, how the patch is available to some but not for others hopefully its sorted soon.
This screwed my game time this weekend.
@banacheck Yeah, it's very strange. Never really known this to happen before, personally.
I've looked for it twice and had no luck. Must not be available in Ireland yet.
Not been able to download it myself. It's a bit odd, hopefully it arrives soon as I'm quite eager to try out the alternative movement setting.
@Johnnycide Honestly, I think the new movement actually makes it a better game. Geralt no longer feels like he's in GTAV!
@ShogunRok aaaargh! I just want to be able to walk round houses without looking like Oliver Reed in a distillery.
Wow, what a mess, bet its SCEE again, bunch of tossers
I still haven't been able to download the latest patch 1.07.. What is Sony playing at!?
Just getting the update now, disk version, in Ireland.
Getting it now.
Literally 3 mins after I finished the game.
Amazing.
The new patch is great, movement and visuals much smoother. Lovely inventory system and "dirty funds" fixed. Thank you CD Projeckt......don't mind the haters.
SCEE undoubtedly screwed up the distribution.
