Another week, another slew of stellar discounts on the European PlayStation Store. Sony's expanding the scope of its ongoing summer sale with a bunch of digital PlayStation 4 titles this week, with the likes of Teslagrad, TowerFall Ascension, and Transistor all available for less than a fiver. Both the PlayStation 3 and Vita are also getting in on the action, so you may want to point your peepers through here for the full roster of cut-price releases.
That's not all, of course. In celebration of Sony's newly formed collaboration with Call of Duty, a bunch of the brand's biggest games will be getting the discount treatment. The offers for fresh forays such as Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare aren't all that great, but you'll be able to snap up some of the series' older entries for 65 per cent off. A bunch of classic map packs are available at 25 per cent off, too.
And then there's the Deal of the Week: Need for Speed Rivals for £11.99. Ghost Games' PS4 launch title didn't go down well with everyone, but we reckon that at that price, you should really be giving it a go. You can peruse the full roster of offers and discounts through here. The question is: what will be getting your money this week? Write your shopping list in the comments section below.

Not a great sale.
^^^ Agreed ^^^
I didn't realise the Towerfall expansion came out last month!
I suppose it's only the base game available in this sale, though.
On another note, I got my 1000 versus matches trophy yesterday. Only took since release. Next stop, 5000 versus matches :/
Just read the review for nfs, 7/10 is decent for a full ps4 game at only £12. Unfortunately I am super skint until the end of the month after buying pes 2015 and a number of old games for the md so it will have to wait
@themcnoisy It's a good game. Quite similar to NFS Hot Pursuit.
I'll pick up Bit Trip Runner 2 and Let's Fish Hooked On for the Vita.
@themcnoisy @Wesker I considered it, but ultimately the lack of local MP has put me off. I like Driveclub, but that is helped largely by it being absolutely gorgeous. But although I do enjoy it, it has sort of cemented my opinion that I won't be buying another driving game that doesn't have a local vs component.
@SteveButler2210 This game is quite different from DriveClub because it's open world. The annoying thing about NFS:R is that it's online MP only, and it's also quite annoying that you need to search all the time for your friends on the map. Also, if you play with the public setting, you can find some overpowered cops that are all to desperate to take you down.
@Wesker Hot Pursuit by Criterion was great. Drifting was a pleasure in that game and the sweeping corners helped. I had Burnout on the GameCube, Burnout 3 on the xbox and Paradise on the 360. All 3 were awesome games. So is the ghost games version the same engine as hot pursuit?
@SteveButler2010 No one ever comes to mine to play driving games so it has zero factor on me buying a game. Gone are the times of Mario kart 64 and taking turns on ridge racer.... I'm getting old.
@themcnoisy I think it's Frostbite because EA wanted all their games to use that during the time, but I would say the drifting is also a pleasure in this game. I do believe that there is plenty of former Criterion staff at Ghost games. The gameplay is very similar to Hot Pursuit.
@Wesker
Hmm your comments are tempting me to try rivals. How would you rate it in terms of fun in comparison with, say, burnout paradise city?
@Pipr Burnout Paradise is still the best game in that mold, but this is similar. Better graphics and a bigger world of course. In this game you go out get the points you need from doing races, time trials, pursuits and busts, then you go back to base and level up for better equipment and cars. There is a story as a racer and as a cop, but I didn't pay to much attention to them, it's not like The Run or anything, you can skip through it and get to the action.
@Wesker
Thanks for the info. I think I'll pick up a physical copy and give it a go...
