Ultra Street Fighter IV is finally running as intended on the PlayStation 4, with a brand new patch cleaning up the release's remaining clangers. This update fixes a variety of visual issues, incorporating antialiasing and anisotropic filtering across the board to improve the graphics. It also increases the resolution of the game's effects to put it on par with the PC version.
Other tweaks include audio balance fixes, font changes, improved save performance, and a tweak so that it says 'Press Options' at the beginning of the game rather than 'Press Start'. Writing on the PlayStation Blog, Third-Party Productions chief Gio Corsi noted that the latter wasn't actually a bug. "It was originally left in intentionally as a tribute to Street Fighter IV's arcade roots," he explained.
The poor state of the original port meant that it was pulled from EVO and Capcom's Pro Tour, but it's getting very close to a point where it can be used at tournaments again. Considering how quickly these updates have been rolled out, though, one can't help but wonder why Sony didn't just delay the game in the first place in order to avoid all of the negative press.

And around this point in time is when the game should have launched.
@Punished_Boss_84 Exactly.
A least it's been fully fixed in a timely manner, I can think of other games that still need fixing.
I have a feeling this might appear on PS+ at some point down the line considering Sony have paid for this port to be made already.
Yay costume 11 is unlocked love those costumes yay.
im gonna get this now, when I get the chance
Now I think I will play this.
Wish Capcom had just done the freaking port itself. DMC 4 Special Edition turned out fine and I don't remember any problems with REmake HD. Farming this one out was a huge mistake.
@Gamer83 Agree, especially when it's one of your flagship IPs.
@Tasuki
My guess is the core team is hard at work on SF V and Capcom is in such poor shape it'll take any handout it can get. Hopefully the Vita port of Resident Evil Revelations 2, if it's still on the table, isn't the same kind of disaster.
Great support for this game. Really enjoying the game even when it first came out.
