Sony's teasing that there's lots to look forward to with regards to Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, but let's be honest – it's the performance that's most important. While the original titles ran extraordinarily well on the PlayStation 3, the PlayStation 4 comes with a revised set of expectations – including improved resolutions and much studier framerates.
It's a good thing, then, that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves already appears to be running at an incredibly smooth 60 frames-per-second in 1080p. Digital Foundry has managed to get its hands on four whole minutes of footage from BluePoint's port, and it's processed it through its fancy framerate ticker, proving that it rarely dips – even when there's tons of action onscreen.
Now, it's certainly not 100 per cent perfect at this point, but the drops are so few and far between that they're unlikely to be noticed by the average eye. This compilation appears to be in very good hands, then, which is incredibly reassuring following the disappointment of similar endeavours on other machines. Hopefully we'll be hearing a lot more about this in the run up to its release later in the year.

Greatness Awaits, is what I would have said several years after completing U1,2 & 3.
@Punished_Boss_84 No desire to play them again?
@get2sammyb
Any desires to play past titles are quenched immediately.
Can't wait to play these games again. Particularly the first game .
I just want to know if they're really going to revamp the first one
I'll be to busy playing Metal Gear and Mad Max to have time to play games I have finished multiple times already.
Those that missed these games first time around (aspecially Uncharted 2) will be in for a treat, although, compared to the games we're now getting on PS4 these remasters are starting to look a little dated.
Can't wait to play through these again, especially number 2. Gonna be struggling for hard drive space soon though 😞
It always baffles me why diwgital fowdewery have a narrator with such a arkward speech impediment! "Nathan Dwake". "The vast of us vemasatered" johnathon woss, eat your heart out!
Digital foundry should give this guy a easier gig in future!
60 fps over graphics and resolution any day of the week, i wish more console developers would have that as a mantra :/
The smoothness of 60fps (and if you have the luxury of 120fps, which looks... incredible) makes games looks much much much better, sure screenshots might be worse but in reality a game at 60fps iwill ALWAYS look better and not only that, it plays million times better.
"BluePoint"
These guys always do a really awesome job, well except the one time they made their own game that was pretty meh but hey when they aren't involved you get the silent hill HD collection.
@sonicmeerkat I was just about to write the same thing when I saw your post. Bluepoint is the best when it comes to upscaling ports.
