DriveClub is continuing to expand under the steady stewardship of Evolution Studios. The game, which launched as a disaster and has blossomed into one of the finest titles on the PlayStation 4, got a free update today, adding a ton of extra functionality to the exclusive foray. Available to download now, the headline addition is the implementation of Sprints – short strips of road which will test your racing ability to its limit.
That's not all, though. There are 10 fresh Elite levels for you to reach, spanning all the way up to Level 75. Moreover, support for the Thrustmaster TH8PA manual gear shifter has been incorporated, giving petrol heads something to squeal about. There's the inclusion of the Ferrari 488 GTB to look forward to as well, which will be added to the PlayStation Store as a free download in the future. We've included the full list of tweaks below; the update's available now, and weighs in at 533MB.

I need to get back into this game again, but Rocket League continues to take up all of my gaming time.
@Tasuki Both games are great at just sucking you in for a few minutes and keeping you there. I feel like they both get you into the action very fast.
No news on private lobbies just yet then
@get2sammyb Agree, that's usually what happens with Rocket League. I sit down to play for a few minutes and that turns into a few hours. I might have to check myself into RLA. Lol
It took em 2 years, but I love it to bits now. I'm usually more of a GT and Forza kinda guy, but Forza 6 will get some serious competition; DC struck the right balance between arcade and sim for me and the underlying mechanics are really spot on for the kinda game they were aiming for.
Chock full of content and quite the looker, it's one of my most appreciated games on the PS4.
◾The Rimac Automobili Concept_One and VUHL 05 are better!
Thank the heavens all my VUHL events are 1 star at best usually. It slips around like a drunk on an ice rink.
Driveclub is now firmly in my personal top 5 racing games ever - top top game. If only it was 60fps.
The game size did not augment much but the update was 11 GB!
I had to delete a game for it.
I'm so glad I took a chance on this game! I picked it up when it and the season pass was on sale. Not much of a racing fan, but this one has been a great time killer, and boy is it a looker!
Brilliant game. I got this on launch day and the transformation has been incredible to see. It reminds me of Burnout Paradise in a way, in that the developer has supported the game constantly and improved it to a state where it is almost unrecognisable. Evolution have done a remarkable job not only getting Driveclub up to scratch, but making it a bigger and better game in every way.
Love DriveClub - perfect balance between arcade and sim. The only thing I'd want as an extra would be split screen multiplayer and private lobbies!
I just wish you could modify the cars! Maybe in Driveclub 2?
I love it too. My only problem with it was no clutch and TH8PA support. Box ticked now!!!
I just wish it wasnt so damned hard.. or I wasnt so bad . Still, I platted it so I cant be too useless eh? Can I?? heheh
