You can't quite beat the appeal of a plunging framerate as billions of bugs infest your high definition display, so we come bearing good news for our European readers: Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair will crawl into the Old World later this year on the PlayStation 4. The game was already announced for North America earlier in the year.
Based upon Sadlot's loveably shoddy PlayStation 3 shooter Earth Defense Force 2025, this updated port includes more creepy crawlies than ever before, across over 100 levels. You'll be able to enjoy the beetle stomping action with friends, too – in local or online multiplayer. EDF! EDF! EDF!
If that's not enough, PQube will also be bringing PlayStation Vita title Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space to Europe, which is a remaster of the excellent PlayStation 2 sequel Global Defense Force. This is actually due out on 15th September in North America, but will follow later in the year in the Old World.

Awesome, always good to see more Vita games.
EDF! EDF! EDF!
How is this still a thing? How do people not get bored of it's repetitiveness? Oh well, this is good for people who like shooting ants, i guess.
@Wesker because its pure & simple fun? Just as a game should be. Also helps that there's more to it than just shooting ants
