Stealing a page from EA's playbook, Square Enix has released a teaser for Final Fantasy XV's forthcoming Gamescom 2015 trailer. The clip β which promises that a new dawn is about to break β shows dogs, cars, and clouds. To be honest, we're disappointed by the lack of crystals, but the full video will probably right that wrong.
The trailer will debut at 08:00AM CET tomorrow, which is about 07:00AM BST. If you happen to be an American on the west coast, you should be able to catch it before bed, at about 23:00PM PST tonight. We already know that the publisher's bringing its hotly anticipated sequel to Cologne in a big way; let's hope for a release date, eh? It has been almost ten years, after all.

I will be absolutely gutted if we don't get a release date, but at this point I'm really not expecting all that much. Prove me wrong SE, prove me wrong...
@SteveButler2210 A release date would only be icing on the cake, I'm desperate for anything, tbh XD
Though, a release date at TGS for Japan is more likely imo.
@SteveButler2210 They just know they've got to give a release date. They've way too much in the pipeline with "release TBC" at the mo!!
Square is actually making it's way back in good graces. FF15, FF7 Remake, DQWARRIORS state side, DQ11 for the ps4 and for those that like it, KH3. Maybe they are finally listening to what their fans want, now we just need reasonable release dates, not years and years and years.
March 2018. And Square will announce it as if that's a good thing.
@ShogunRok But that would mean FFXII: Remake would be out on 2020. ;P
@WanderingBullet It's since transpired that was a mis-announcement, doesn't look like it'll be coming after all
So what so you think the release dates will be in order ff15 >ff12> kh3> ff7 ?????????????
@kyleforrester87 Nooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! Say it isn't true
@marston1983 http://www.polygon.com/2015/8/3/9089477/final-fantasy-12-remake-composer-retraction
I read from someone who was at the concert that he'd been discussing the FF7 remake moments earlier and was a bit over excited, hence the mistake. Sounds like he was just on about remaking the soundtrack.
I suppose he could have meant a remaster of the game is on its way, not remake, but you'd have expected that to have been clarified in his follow up comments instead of being retracted entirely..
Still, never say never!
@kyleforrester87 The sad thing is I have the game on my ps2 upstairs in the loft, trouble is who wants to play it on ps2 when I have a perfectly suitable Vita
@marston1983 Ah some people would have you think otherwise but there's nothing wrong with wanting to play your favourite old games on your modern hardware with HD graphics and remastered soundtracks!!
@kyleforrester87 XD... Game developers should only announce games release dates 6-12 months before the actual release dates.
Just look at The Last Guardian, I know some people lost interest in it already...
@WanderingBullet maybe. Would make for boring e3's though..
@kyleforrester87 True, true...
