Could there be Gravity Rush news around the corner? Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida hinted at E3 that he had played the latest entry in Keiichiro Toyama's topsy-turvy series, and now a mysterious Reddit post has appeared requesting beta testers in California. While the post seems suspect, a legit company named Vupoint Research appears to be running the sessions – and it's offering to pay $125 to anyone who can attend.
So, what's this all about? Well, it seems weird, but it would appear that Sony's doing some focus testing for the next instalment in the series, and it wants franchise fans to attend. A ratings board recently leaked a PlayStation 4 remaster of the original PlayStation Vita game, so we wouldn't be surprised if that surfaced soon. As for the sequel that was announced at Tokyo Game Show a couple of years ago – well, hopefully that's still on the horizon, too.

Ya we're WAY overdue on Gravity Rush 2.
I hope it's a Vita game, but I know it won't be
I've always said Vita will end up being remembered as the console where Kat debutted
Please let this be true, both remaster and sequel. Felt the combat wasn't great but franchise has potential, plus Kat is adorable.
I cant wait to see this in action! I wonder if there is going to be some multiplayer elements to GR2?
Hopefully we'll see both come to fruition! Looking forward to seeing more on them in the hopefully near future!
Is "Kat's got the cream" a porn reference?
I hope Vita at least gets a port but I know it won't, anyway will be nice to finally just get a sequel.
I've said it before and I'll say it again Gravity Rush 2 will come out on both the PS4 and Vita - just like World of Final Fantasy.
There are too many Vita owners who will buy the game in Japan for it not to. We won't get a physical Vita release in the West only a physical release for the PS4.
@Boerewors Urm, no. It's a perfectly innocent saying haha. http://oels.byu.edu/student/idioms/idioms/cat_got_cream.html
Hopefully TGS will bring us the remaster and sequel announcements. Love the first game and I want this to have a chance to become a franchise. That can only happen if the games come to PS4 though, which I'm perfectly fine with.
Wish they'd just make a PS4 game of the second game in the series, and let the Vita have one of it's few (damn good) exclusives.
@Boerewors no it's a reference to the old adage about cats and cream. It's really old-fashioned.
