Gamescom 2015 may have been dismal for PlayStation fans, but Sony's setting up a grandstand finish to the year. Not content with Paris Games Week and PlayStation Experience, the platform holder has now dated its annual pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference, which will take place on 15th September. The event will kick off at 16:00PM local time in Tokyo, so you're looking at an 08:00AM BST start in the UK. Things are not quite so convenient in the US, where the show will get underway at 00:00AM PT and 03:00AM ET.
As is always the case with this event, the news will be very much targeted at the Japanese market – but we'll still bring you all of the announcements live as they break. We'd expect to see the re-emergence of Gravity Rush during this presser, while Final Fantasy VII Remake could put in an appearance as well. Hopefully we'll also get a look at From Software's in-development Bloodborne expansion, as well as an update on The Last Guardian and Dragon Quest XI. Of course, some fresh announcements would be nice, too.
What are you hoping to see come out of this show? Do you think that Sony can save the PS4 in Japan, and how? Place your predictions in the comments section below.

I'm guessing Bloodborne expansion and Gravity Rush remaster announcement. Also Gravity Rush re-announcement for ps4.
@WebHead Yeah, I think all of these are 90% certain. Really excited for them all, too.
Gravity Rush please!
PERSONA 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@dinaco97 Haha, I just came here to post that @ShogunRok will kill me forgetting for Persona 5. Yeah, if this is coming out in 2015, we absolutely have to see a date during this event.
Personally, I think we'll get a new trailer with a big '2016' logo at the end.
Looking forward to this. I thought Sony killed it with last year's pre-TGS show.
@WebHead
I'm starting to lose hope regarding Gravity Rush 2, to be honest, but if there's a perfect time to announce it, it's at this show.
I realise it's not at all likely but TLOU 2
@Gamer83 Don't lose hope in Gravity Rush, my man. Shu Yoshida said at E3 2015 that he's been playing it and Sony's waiting for the right time to unveil it: https://www.pushsquare.com/news/2015/06/e3_2015_whats_going_on_with_gravity_rush_2
I think you're right that it'll be during this event.
Final fantasy vii remake might make it in. It's true. Very likely we will get one screenshot from that is "new" but also could be found in the reveal trailer...
Hot Shots Golf PS4 should be here, too. I keep forgetting about that. HYPE.
Wtf! Why have I not heard of the Bloodborne expansion?!
*Runs off to Google *
@get2sammyb I have been waiting patiently for news on Hot Shots. Such a Sony classic, I hope it makes an appearance!
Dammit, starts exactly when I need to leave for work. Oh well, I'll have plenty to keep me busy getting caught up during the day then!
Nah, Squeenix already said that information about the FFVII remake is coming in the winter, so that's definitely being saved for PSX
Persona 5 release date, Disgaea 5 release date (or have I missed this already?), more FFXV, more DQXI, announcement of more cloud storage space, announcement that Kojima is now working for Sony, announcement that Kojima and Del Toro are now working on a survival horror PS4 exclusive called Quiet Mountains, Tekken 7 release date, another SFV character, news on focusing more on PS4 exclusives rather than PS3/PS4 exclusives.
Oh, and more Morpheus stuff. In general I'd like it if games that weren't designed from the ground up for Morpheus could have some kind of Morpheus usage, although I know that's incredibly unlikely due to them only being 30-60fps (and rarely the latter) and thus far under the recommended minimum framerate for VR.
