Red Dead Redemption may be as old as the hills, but the PlayStation 3 title continues to sell. Released all the way back in 2010, publisher Take-Two has announced that the Rockstar San Diego developed escapade has just crossed the 14 million units milestone. These are shipped numbers, but are still outrageously impressive.
A sequel has been rumoured for what feels like an eternity, but we're yet to see anything official yet. Given the overwhelming success of the brand, though – and with a Grand Theft Auto sequel still a long way off – we have to imagine that another open world Western is on the way. Would a hypothetical Red Dead Redemption 2 whip up much interest in you? Say yay or neigh in the comments section below.

This is probably the best game of last generation, so of course a sequel would be a huge deal.
One of the games that most deserves a remaster for current gen... But instead we get crap like Risen 3, Dead Island and Legend of Kay...
Still Rockstar's best game, in my humble opinion.
Bring red dead redemption remaster on ps4 already. Missed this gem on the ps3.
One of my favourite games from last gen, it just nailed the atmosphere.
So damn gunslingin' good it's silly, a sequel next year please, may would be fine thank you:)
@ShogunRok
Agreed, I like this one so much better than all their GTAs.
What a classic. Without a doubt my favourite Rockstar game, and one of the best PS3 games. Wish I still had my PS3 so I could give it another spin!
Oh, and yes, a sequel on PS4 would be ace.
Id love to see open world gang stuff with cowboys. Imagine a band renegade cowboys...robbing banks, galloping off into the sunset, saloon fights...all that good stuff. When the sequel drops, i could see a few things like that happening...just imagine it for a sec. There
Such a great freaking game.
There were some great characters in this game too. Nigel West Dickens was awesome.
Quite simply one of the best games of the last twenty years; far better than any of that GTA stuff.
PC version please.
