It may have been a dismal Gamescom 2015 for PlayStation fans, but Sony's promised to make up for its absence at Paris Games Week a little later in the year. And now – hot on the heels of PlayStation Experience's announcement – the platform holder has confirmed that its press conference will take place on 27th October at 18:00PM CEST (09:00AM PT/12:00PM ET). That's a great window for major Western announcements, don't you think?
We already know that the show – which will be hosted at Espace Grande Arche in Le Parvis de la Défense – will include more information on Media Molecule's intriguing Dreams, but you should probably expect updates from Quantic Dream and potentially Polyphony Digital as well. We still reckon that the timing is ripe for a price drop, too, with the holiday shopping season set to start in earnest right around the time of the presser.
But what do you think that Sony will show? Is there anything in particular that you're hoping for? Place your bets in the comments section below.

I feel a price drop coming too and this would be the ideal time.
Having said that PS4 will still do well without one but with MS playing hard this fall, it could be a good counter move by Sony...
They should bring PS Experience to Europe next year
@Dodoo batman, star wars, Destiny, phantom pain special PS4, xbone don't stand a chance.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi That would be amazing. Even if we had to stick to US scheduling so that they could do it all simultaneously, I would happily stay up all night to attend a PS Experience in London!
I suspect:
-Price drop
-reveal of UC4 multiplayer with beta date
-Show more indies and new bundles
-show remasters of Beyond and Heavy Rain, maybe a tease of Quantic Dream's new game.
-Perhaps a tease of GT7.
Gran Turismo 7 would be nice
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Yeah PS Experience in Europe would be sweet, especially as it's Sony's strongest market.
I'd happily attend if they had it in London...
@Mrskinner GT7 would be nice as I miss my Forza!
I hope there is a price drop and I hope it is worldwide too.
That Eiffel Tower looks cute too.
This could all apply to the TGS or PSE, but at one of these I'd like to see Persona 5 release date in 2015, ditto for Disgaea 5, Bloodborne DLC, Tekken 7 release date, new FFVIIR stuff, new TLG stuff, something showing Shenmue III in light of the Kickstarter success, a date for FFXV, more DQXI, more tangible Morpheus stuff, No Man's Sky release date in 2015, new SFV character, more Deep Down and a release date, Dragon's Dogma Online for the West, more Horizon and a soonish release date, plus at least 2 or 3 new exclusives for PS4 only.
Other things that I'm not sure are conference worthy are more PS+ cloud storage. The current amount is pathetic. Customisable dashboard thing for PS4. PS Now becoming less of a rip-off and/or more PS2 classics added to PSN, e.g. .hack//SIGN and .hack//GU followed by an announcement of classics support for PS4, maybe by way of a banner tied to a pig as it flies through the sky.
@Neolit Damn...DriveClub with Morpheus...now THAT would be cool. I'd pre-order instantly, no question. You've got me dreaming now, gonna be crushed if this doesn't get announced haha!
