It's a bit of a weird week here at Push Square Towers to be honest. We're on red alert ahead of Gamescom 2015, but with the curtain literally just closing on E3 2015, we're not quite sure how busy we're going to be. Furthering our uncertainty is the fact that Sony's delayed its annual European press conference until October, where it'll be held during Paris Games Week instead.
However, it's important to note that the Japanese giant will still be in Cologne over the coming days, as will various third-party publishers. And writing on the PlayStation Blog, SCEE's Fred Dutton has hinted that there will be lots to look forward to if you're of a PlayStation persuasion. "We do have some good stuff lined up from our third-party partners," he told eager fans.
We're really excited to see how this all plays out, but you can be rest assured that there'll be your usual dose of reaction, breaking news, and live coverage right here on Push Square. We're still secretly hoping that the platform holder's going to drop some first-party news – even if it's just trailers – during the show, but we'll have to wait and see.

I think saving the big news for Paris is really smart. That way they can announce price drops and create hype right before the holiday bum rush. For me though, it is all about Fallout 4.
@SonyInfinity The timing of the Paris event is perfect for a price drop, you're right. Gamescom is way too early this year.
I'm so hyped for Paris Games Week. I think it's time to see WILD again.
I could also see them dropping some new 1st party surprises along with a price drop, really get the hype train going. I feel like there are quite a bit of the first party developers we haven't heard from yet, correct me if I'm wrong.
@SonyInfinity I think Sony is going to reveal bend studio and quantic dream new games
@DominicanGlory I second that sir, I was excited by the reveal last year.
Eh, probably stuff we've already heard about... Bring on Paris Games Week and Playstation Experience 2015 already.
Can't believe E3 was nearly 2 months ago :/ Bring on Gamescom!
Will there be a PS experience this year? Hope so...
