Anyone else here a fan of The Simpsons games? Whether it's Konami's classic arcade game, Virtual Springfield, or even The Simpsons Wrestling, we've always had a soft spot for interactive adaptations of Matt Groening's colourful universe. Sadly, ever since the release of EA's decidedly decent The Simpsons Game, the American family have been missing on home consoles – until now.
LEGO Dimensions will allow you to purchase an extra Level Pack featuring some mini-figures and an entire new stage set in Springfield. Best of all, you'll be able to mix and match as you see fit, so Batman will be able to hang with the Bartman, and so on. There's also a Midway Arcade Level Pack in the pipeline, which includes the Spy Hunter car and stages based on Defender and Gauntlet.
Look, we're not the biggest fans of this whole toys-to-life initiative, but this one seems so bonkers that it may yet twist our arm.

Watching Simpsons on C4 now. It's still brilliant imo.
@kyleforrester87 It really is. I've grown to appreciate it even more as I've gotten older to be honest. Amazing show.
EA focus on the app game Tapped Out. I actually play it regularly.
This has been known for....longer than the Doctor Who stuff actually. :/
They fight,
They bite,
They bite and fight and bite,
bite, bite,bite,
fight, fight, fight,
The Itchy and Scratchy Show!
@Cyber-BLP-- The screenshots are new, though.
@get2sammyb
The newer shows have lost there way, I watched the monorail episode and the valentines choo choo choose you train card episode. Brilliant. They are some of the first episodes but hilarious.
I still hope for a sequel to the last Simpsons game that was on consoles.
@kyleforrester87 Especially the first 10 or so sessions after that it dropped a bit.
Homer doesn't look fat enough. He just looks off like this.
I wish they would bring a port of the arcade game to PS4.
@Tasuki it's on PS3 and it's great
@Jaz007 kinda looks the Homer from Hit N Run. Definitely one of my favourite PS2 games.
