Introducing the Ouye, a Chinese console packed with so much plagiarism that it's bordering on parody. The device – which is currently up for crowd funding – boasts the chassis of the PlayStation 4, but the controller of the Xbox One. We're sure that we've heard the name somewhere else before, too, but we're drawing blanks.
This appears to be one of those godawful Android machines, with the likes of Angry Birds and Temple Run shown in the system's PlayStation Store-esque user interface. The firm's looking to raise ¥100,000 to get this project off the ground, which equates to about $15,000. Expect to see one of these on a market stall near you soon if it secures enough funding.

I will say that the Chinese made portable Android gaming tablets are starting to trump the Vita in someways, specifically the JXD 7800B and the iplay 7 with a Tegra 4 chip.......build quality of those two models are pretty decent as well. If your looking for something to replace your emulator PSP, there you go.
Outside of that, this console is ridiculous.
What a surprise! I would never expect China to copy others.... I thought they epitomised originality and creativity....
So its a PS4-XboxOne-OUYA…
I like that its completely original.
A console that looks like the PS4 and a controller that looks like the XBONE's controller. XD This is what happens when everything gets outsourced and made in China.
@sub12 Tablets are fine because they're meant to run these sorts of games. I don't know why anyone ever thought playing smartphone games on a TV was a good idea, though.
I'll take 2 please, one to sit on and the other to stare at.
@get2sammyb the mind boggles.
What are the laws in China about copyright?
@themcnoisy there are none. Have you seen their car knock offs? They're carbon copies but the real manufacturers just get laughed out of court when they try and sue
The name you're drawing a blank on is OUYA, an android based console from a few years back (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ouya). Seriously though I don't get how it can possibly be legal for them to make this! Crazy...
@SteveButler2210 @themcnoisy. The Chinese really don't have a copyright law and don't see anything illegal about this. They believe anything that the public can buy belongs to the public, not corporations.
Bahahahahahahaha.....wait wait.....bahahahahahaha, man I feel bad for the kid whose parents buy this thinking he is getting a ps4, knock off at it's finest.
However a genuine PS4 with an xbone controller would be awsome, i've bought my 4th controler a few day's ago for my ps4 they are the worst controller's i've ever used I charged the new controler solid for over 24 hour's and the battery life is stil 4 or 5 hour's before I need to plug it in again because the bar is on 1.....I was almost tempted to buy an unnoficial wired controller for £35 (£20 cheaper than the official one) maybe I will next time and that's not to mention the button's wearing out after so much use that some gun's in some game's won't fire, I know several people this has happened to the
PS4 controler's are shocking quality.
¥100,000 is only $1200. Is that all they need?
@hi_drnick It's 797,06 USD.
@Tasuki They do have copyright laws but nobody there cares.
This doesn't make a bit of sense.... Why?! This should be obvious copyright infringement.
I knew there was something up with OUYA.... Oh wait.
@themcnoisy Take this from someone who was over there a few weeks ago there are none.
Day 1!
I actually want one! lol
@xMEADx I love Hori

@SteveButler2210 You're kind to respond to that, but it was part of the joke.
@Totaldude911 @Imagremlin oh man I must have been having a slow day that day... :/
