To save you all from editor Robert Ramsey's intolerable snark, this scribe will be taking up the reins on Final Fantasy XV until he's calmed down. The latest update coming out of Square Enix comprises a single screenshot showing the Malboro battle first showcased at Gamescom 2015 earlier in the year. After seeing this, we did have to put Ramsey back in his straitjacket.
Apparently, we'll be finding out more about the game at PAX Prime a little later this month. The blurb for the event – which will be hosted by director Hajime Tabata – promises "a few personal stories about the development of the game" and "some insights into the recently revealed trailer". We're going to have to keep Ramsey locked away while that one's ongoing.

Cue another hour of non-stop talking that somehow amounts to absolutely zero new info on the game. Looking forward to another re-assurance that they will soon be able to reveal the date for the grand announcement of the exact point at which they might possibly (maybe this century) be ready to give us 2 of the 6 digits required to spell out the release date...

Marlboro gives you cancer?
I wouldn't expect anything at pax prime...
I know its taken the mick, but I like this picture....
You know what or rather whom that monster is don't you?
@themcnoisy The nightmares of every FF player ever.
Looks impressive. Is it a cutscene or an in-game screenshot?
I rather fight a Malboro than a Tonberry. At least I'll have a fighting chance against this thing.
