We're eagerly awaiting a concrete Western release date for Yakuza 5 - which could well be the final PlayStation 3 exclusive that you really should play - and the game's newest video isn't making the wait any easier. Posting on the North American PlayStation Blog, Atlus' John Hardin has detailed a few of the title's finer points, which suggests that the company behind the Persona franchise is localising the fifth tale of Kazuma Kiryu. Looks like the rumours from early 2014 were correct, eh?
In any case, the big news here is that the sandbox brawler will launch with all of the game's previously released Japanese downloadable content already included. Not bad when you consider that the add-ons feature extra storylines that focus on giving yet more depth to the playable protagonists. Oh, and you'll get a PS3 theme if you pre-order the digital-only release, too.
Take a look at the game's rather interesting developer interview, which is hosted by none other than Gio Corsi - the man partly responsible for the title's journey overseas - and tell us if you'll be spending a night in Kamurocho in the comments section below.

is this already available for pre-order on the UK store?
Still think it's a huge mistake not to have it for PS4 as well.
@Gamer83 Hopefully if this sells reasonably okay we'll get Yakuza Zero, too.

That's what I'm rooting for, I don't even care if it would be digital only like this. Preference is physical copies of games but I'm at the point with the Yakuza games where anything is better than nothing so if a digital release for 0 is the only way we can get it in the West, so be it.
Only digital game I'd preorder.
Please leave in mahjong this time. Some of us do actually know how to play it and don't just think it's that solitaire mahjong you used to get in Windows.
