You'll be screaming about JASON'S safety all over again soon, as it seems that Quantic Dream is getting ready to announce the PlayStation 4 release dates for Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. The interactive dramas – which both originally deployed on the PlayStation 3 – were confirmed for Sony's new-gen hardware at E3 2015, where they'll ship with enhanced visuals and some new features. Ellen Page's supernatural escapade will be playable in chronological order, for example.
There was some confusion over whether these titles would be available in North America at first, but the Parisian developer quickly cleared that up. We're looking forward to revisiting both of these outings, but we're not sure how well Heavy Rain's going to hold up. Either way, we should be hearing plenty more from Quantic Dream soon, as it's sure to announce its in-production PS4 project at Paris Games Week. Personally, we can't wait to see divisive director David Cage back on stage again.

Yeah, I like the disjointed narrative in Beyond: Two Souls as well. I recently started reading The Time Traveler's Wife, and that uses a similar storytelling device.
I'm personally not convinced Heavy Rain will hold up, but I hope to be proven wrong.
"We're not sure how well Heavy Rain's going to hold up."
I think it will hold up fine. It was all ready the better game IMO and I don't see that changing.
I enjoyed Beyond but not near as much as Heavy Rain.
Bit of a spoiler pic there, Sammy, for those who have yet to play the game.
I'd like to play Beyond two Souls as I missed it the first time. Heavy Rain is a welcome bonus to.
Yea, I never played those games, and looking forward to playing it for the first time I will get the games of they are priced right, otherwise I will just get the ps3 copies.

@LieutenantFatman
That actually is a spoiler IF you have played the game. I did and only noticed it when you mentioned it.
Anyway, as with 99% of these remasters, not interested.
@get2sammyb
I think the disjointed narrative was the main problem with Beyond's two soul (for example, there's no weight to being able to choose whether you want to join the FBI or not, if you have already been shown that she ends up joining the FBI anyways) the game would improve greatly if they added the option to play in chronological order in the remaster
Never played Heavy Rain but after playing Until Dawn I'm definitely up for some more of these types of games
I still think Heavy Rain was one of the best gaming experiences I've had on PS3. I wish I could go back and NOT play it just so I can experience all again on PS4.
I wasn't able to finish Beyond Two Souls before getting caught up in other games. It was good, but it didn't have the same magic as Heavy Rain.
Until Dawn ranks between to other two for me. I felt as if it were way more 'on rails' and predictable than Heavy Rain.
I would have liked an hd combo of omikron and indigo prophecy honestly.
They will be bundled together?
I had gotten both games on ps3 so I'll skip the rerelease, but they are excellent games, review be damned.
Sweet I always have wanted to play Heavy Rain since I didn't own a PS3 last gen. I have watched it through some LPs on YouTube but it's not the same as experiencing it for yourself.
@sinalefa What 1% of remasters are you interested in? Not a dig, honest question. It's kind of weird, I've played plenty of games on my PS3 over the past 8 years, but not a lot of remastered games, only the Uncharted series comes to mind. Neither of these, nor GTAV. I did play a lot of PS2 games on PS3 though. Oh, just remembered TLOU, but I have no desire to replay it, how much better could it possibly look?
@rjejr
The Metro games as I never played those. Heard good things about them. This must be the forgetful gen with so many remasters.
@sinalefa Well I'm glad I asked then, b/c I was never going to guess Metro.
I tried playing both games on my PS3, but I guess these type of games just arent my thing.
Regardless I'll probably still buy the PS4 versions though XD
"There was some confusion over whether these titles would be available in North America at first, but the Parisian developer quickly cleared that up."
They did? I must've missed that. So...it IS coming out here? 'Cause I was prepared to import, but buying it in America would be SO much easier/cheaper.
@rjejr
On X1 I am interested in more since I have never had a MS console. Basically Halo and Gears. But if I played the game I dont care about a remaster.
Ill pass - allthough I highly recommend HEAVY RAIN to anyone who is interested - its one of the most gripping, shocking and tense video game experiences I have ever had - but I certainly dont want to play it again as a HD remake. Its definitely one of the best PS3 games ever made and also one of the best told video game stories of all time.
@NathanUC totally agree ^^ - wish I didnt know the game so well so I could experience it now for the first time - I envy everyone that can experience this now in HD for the first time, Im gonna get UntilDawn soon btw I really hope its as gripping and intriguing
Wasn't so fussed on Heavy Rain but I loved Beyond:Two Souls, thought it was treated rather unfavourably in reviews, who cares if it switched genres for different sequences, complaining about it being unrealistic when you're playing half the game as a disembodied entity, the irony was lost on them it seems.
That said since I played it to death to get the platinum I can't see me getting the ps4 version, like The Last of Us I would rather have seen the resources put towards the next game by the studio instead.
and yeah...you should probably change that picture.
im curious as to why some think heavy rain wont hold up.... i dont understand why anyone would say this. anyway, heavy rain is easily one of my favorite games and i like it better than beyond two souls which i also love...uuhhh. yeah so i cant wait to revisit them on ps4. a remake i gladly accept!
@consolfreak1982 Remember the extreme Christian or catholic guy's apartment scene?
Super hot fire.
@sinalefa The metro games are excelent . Sadly I own the original ps3 release and the two remaster. I still need to dig into. But I played a few hours on ps3 and wow is it good.
@sinalefa
Agreed. I didnt buy a PS4 to play remastered last-gen games from two or three years ago..
This is what I love about PlayStation. You would never get these kinds of games on Xbox. Although I did play Fahrenheit on the original Xbox. Its a shame they didn't have more of these types of games on the XB360 aswell as the XB1, yet.
Beyond: Two Souls. is amazing i loved it the story was epic the acting she did was top notch and made me fully care for her . I cant wait to play it again as i packed away my old consoles
@WARDIE yes i have been saying that from the first month of x1 mine is a dust collector and only get touched for gears or halo but as of now all they have is triple AAA 3rd party and first party but no one seems to be bringing games there from 3rd party devs that are mid range and even remakes and ports like injustice , bound by blood ,risen 3 , arcadia all games on the 360 but not on the x1 and all are great i have them all on my ps4 . I will always have a xbox as there are great games sony wont ever get so i neeed all the consoles as its about the games to me and sony is cleaning house and in 2016 there going to slap out xbox if you go buy the release charts sony has so many exclusives over 10 to 1 on ps4 because 3rd party support is on ps4 side the gen and ps4 gets the greats like disegea , persona , and tons of japanse games xbox wont ever se
@KAPADO the scene that disturbed me the most was that creepy old man - Idk why I was so stupid to take that drink LOL
