Comcept's overdue outing Mighty No. 9 will power its way to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on 9th February in North America and 12th February in Europe. The platformer was originally due out this month, but was pushed back at the very last minute following a failed Kickstarter from creator Keiji Inafune. There is a PlayStation Vita version also in development, but that will be dated a little later down the line.
The game will be available in both physical and digital forms on the PS4, but will only be available digitally on the PS3. Whichever version you purchase, however, it will be cross-buy, so you'll be able to play it on whichever platform you prefer. Are you still excited for this side-scroller? Dang so this, Hitman, and Ninja Storm 4
I will check it out. Always been a huge fan of the classic Mega Man games.
@Tasuki if you had to choose between the megaman collection and mighty which would you plump for?
I can't wait until they delay this without giving a reason to the backers again, then try to get more money for some unnecessary, extemporaneous goal. You suck, Inafune.
Mighty No. 9? Should change it's name to Measly No. 6 at this rate, because the game is looking pretty rubbish. Shame, because it had so much potential.
@Crimson_Ridley I agree that it looks like it may be underwhelming, but I'm going to suspend judgment until I play through it myself.
Part of me wants this game to be awful to really elevate peoples' souring on Comcept to a whole other level. I think the eventual, possible quality of this game is the one thing buoying people up at the moment.
I really could not care less about this game at this point.
