Sony's new-gen system is on fire pretty much all around the world, and the story is no different in the Middle East. The platform holder confirmed today that it has surpassed one million sales in the region, which consists of several different countries, including Turkey and Qatar. Speaking of the success, SCE gaffer Robert Fisser pointed to the system's ability to display Arabic on its user interface as a major selling point.
It's unclear how the console is performing compared to its competition, but reports recently stated that the PS4's selling four times faster than its predecessor in the market. And the firm seems pretty bullish that these fortunes are set to continue. "On to the next million, I already have the stock ready," Fisser beamed. If the manufacturer does get the price down this year, we expect sales to explode all over again.

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Turkeys accession to the eu isn't certain by any means, whereas turkey has aspired to eu membership since the seventies - it still hasn't been granted membership. The Turkish government has put a limit of 2022 or something to join or they wont re attempt ever again. Germany opposes them strongly. The UK are big supporters.

The UK and Turkey have had great relations, unsure over the last 3.5 years but prior to that ot was pretty strong.
Since when did this site become political?
I play games and use sites like this for entertainment and escape the crap going on in the EU and rest of world politics/relations.
Don't mean to be all grumpy about your subject matter but, every morning on the news we get are daily fix or regional and world issues.
I guess the xbots are running out of bullets to fire against the PS4 and are now resorting to regional politics as a way to vent their bitterness.
Turkey will never get into the EU after they way Greece has behaved because it clearly shows a cultural misunderstanding where countries on the fringes of the middle east think the EU is a charity. The EU does not work like that. It is a partnership.
But those discussions should take place elsewhere. We are gamers visiting a gaming website. Let's talk games.
Great job Sony!
@WARDIE Your right but what Bad was pointing out is that the figures are slightly twisted as Turkey is in Europe (although not the eu) that's the reason.
PS4 is doing great. Super Time Force tonight come on!!!
